Who has the best price on a RAH Fett? I saw one on Ebay for $158 plus shipping, which was overpriced at $30

If that's $158 shipped, that's the best price unless you can get one from SS waitlist. BBTS has them for like $168 I think, it was mentioned a few posts back, Irish Jedi is on the hunt too.

Thanks for the information. I wanted to see what was a 'competitive' price.

Yeah, it's a bit much, but I don't think there will a lot of luck n the 2ndry market after it hits.

After these I'd really like to see Medicom's take on some iconic human characters. What are their female bodies like?

That is simply awesome!:joy :joy
The headsculpt is amazing! And the suit!! I mean, I know a lot of people don't like Medicom but to be honest, their products are simply the best quality around, along with Hot toys, but Medicom I think has a certain "perfect" material quality and tailoring that Sideshow simply won't be able to accomplish. I am still waiting to see Sideshow's take on armored figs, but honestly, I wouldn't mind having them make all the human characters and Medicom the armored ones!
Even with that, Medicom's Wolverine is a clear example of their capabilities!

Just ordered the RAH Boba Fett at BBTS. I figured, what the heck... $20 at this point is worth securing it with a reputable online retailer, imho. And I suppose I can always cancel that one if my Wait List order at SSC comes through. :rock

BTW, BBTS also has the RAH Jango Fett up for pre-order now for $164.99.

I'll be getting this guy for sure. He's just way too cool looking not to get. I've really come to like Medicom's stuff as well. They make a nice product and one worth getting because of what you get. I'm glad when I got my BHST that his hands where way different than the ROTS Vader that's been my one complaint with Medicom so far. The way I look at it is between SS and Medicom this SW fan is winning all the way around. :chew

SIDESHOW HUDSON: "What are we still talking about this for man? Its over, Medicom won. Game over man game over! What are we going to do now man, what are we going to do??"

SIDESHOW BURKE: "I don't know, maybe we could build another Marvel PF, sing a couple of songs."

SIDESHOW RIPLEY: "I say we take off, and nuke the entire base body line from orbit. Its the only way to be sure."

SIDESHOW HUDSON: "F'n Kurgan."

SIDESHOW BURKE: "Whoa, ho, ho, ho. Hold on now, the Art S. Buck body has a substantial dollar value attached to it and I don't think anyone here has the right to arbitrarily exterminate it."

SIDESHOW RIPLEY: "Wrong."

SIDESHOW VASQUEZ: "Yeah, watch us."

SIDESHOW RIPLEY: "How long until the new armored figures are ready to ship?"

SIDESHOW HICKS: "17 years."

SIDESHOW HUDSON: "17 years!? Hey man I don't mean to rain on your parade but we won't last 17 hours with those Medicom pics running around. They're going to post those pics like they did before..."

SIDESHOW RIPLEY: "Hudson!"

SIDESHOW HUDSON: "...they're going to post those pics like they did before..."

SIDESHOW RIPLEY: "Hudson!"

SIDESHOW HUDSON: "They're going to post those pics, they're going to post those pics..."

SIDESHOW RIPLEY: "Hudson!"

SIDESHOW HUDSON: "...and they're going to kill us!"

SIDESHOW RIPLEY: "This little 12 inch Leia sold out faster than the RAH Fett with a Mego-like body and no armor."

SIDESHOW HUDSON: "Why don't you put her in charge!"

SIDESHOW 12 INCH LEIA: "What if I have bad dreams?"

SIDESHOW RIPLEY: "The PF Fett didn't have any."

SIDESHOW 12 INCH LEIA: "Ripley the PF Fett doesn't dream because he's just a piece of plastic."

;)

Funny stuff, but Medicom still hasn't "won" anything quite yet.

So far, the winners have been the collectors for the most part.

That is so not the vibe here. This is just a discussion about the best 12" figure ever produced (until the Medi Cody) and how Medicom's head sculpt is fantastic. You're probably getting that vibe because deep down you arent happy with SS at the moment.

Well I wouldn't say that's the reason. I don't have any deep down feelings one way or the other. But I'm not getting that vibe anymore, so no worries there.

This is about the best 1/6th Star Wars figure out there (though not my absolute favorite character) and I will be adding him to my collection to go along with the Medicom Boba I have on order. I don't mind where a figure comes from or who makes it. If it's worth it I'll buy it. And this one is definitely worth it.

As impressive as Medicom is, it's unfortunate they do wrists like they do, the one axis joint is limiting for poses, one area where I feel Sideshow's Buck is best, but even Hot Toys offers 2 axis wrists that work well, it's a shame Medi doesn't, that would make em so much the more better.

If there one thing I have problems with Medi, it's that wrist issue. It's really hard getting a proper weapon stance on the stormies.

Why is it so hard?

Id say it has more to do with the rubber suit than the wrists, but I didnt even try and I did the pose above.

Not sure what you mean by 1 axis wrist. The wrists move the same as the sideshow ones and the hot toys ones. theyre just engineered to fit on differently.

They move forward and back, and you can twirl them around, same as the other two companies.

Every Medi figure I have the wrist only flips back hand to forearm and palm to forearm, with HT and SSC, you can spin the hand on the pin that holds it on so you can bend say a fist in an up and down motion, I can take pictures later to show my point.
