11.5 inch figure...

For ****s sake change the record. We KNOW the figures are just under 12 inches, and before you inevitably reply with the usual garbage about the cost difference we are also more than aware that they cost more than SSC's figures too, but not everyone is concerned with how tall a figure is compared to SSC's stuff and is just after a quality item and as such have got past the scale & price issues so if you can't do the same or at least come up with some more constructive criticism than the usual tired remarks about the scale and prices why do you bother commenting on them?
Whether 11.8 inches,12 inches or 12 feet, the RAH Jango Fett will surpass any 1/6 SSC release this year with considerable ease and will likely be the best large scale fully poseable SW figure for some time to come. Deal with it and move on.

Maybe you should follow you own advice. Someone said "Jango in the greatest 12 inch figure" and Dave said not 11.5" figure. And what he said was correct, he didnt say it was bad he made a siggle statement that corrects an incorrect statement.
Everytime someone ever say its short you medikids go crazy. Sorry its the truth they are short.

...and this is one instance where that half inch works...after watchin' a bit of AOTC today I observed that Jango is shorter than Obi-Wan & Mace...the two characters worth posing him with. Heck, he'll even work well posed with the Hasbro Dooku (one of their best)...with Dooku being at 12" and jango 11.5"...

I just wish the guy wasn't so expensive ...me and my cartier tastes, eh? :lol

What you say is true, but then so are Sideshow's 12" figures. They are all short. Put any of them next to a PF and they are like pygmies. Put them next to my life-size Gollum figure and they are, well, dolls. ;)

I've never denied the fact that they are 0.2 inches shorter than most other companies 1/6 figures but I just don't see it as being such an issue when the overall quality of the figures are so good.

Dude at what point in any of those you quoted did it ever say it was. I think Daves comment was kinda a joking correction.

Ya, deffinately taking Dave's comment too far, he's a nice guy, likes to throw subtle laughs in every now and then, I wouldn't read much more into that.

I really like this figure, it's amazing. And I don't really like Medicom figures too, so that's saying something. I don't mind that it's a little shorter than the Sideshow figures if it's a good figure.

The preorder date wasn't stated though, but I'd really like to order. How good have the wait lists been for Medicom figures? I'm guessing that it'd be sold out before I would have enough money for it.

mark since when did you become a sideshow rimjobber? you're starting to compete with the superfan for the top spot.:rotfl

What because I corrected someone who went off about a 3 word true statement? And I know it a true statement I just measured a Stormtrooper its barely 11.5".

What I'm most curious about is there's not mention of it being PPO, but I don't recall ordering any Star Wars item that didn't have a PPO, I wonder if it'll just go up for sale all of a sudden like the HT Endoskeleton and some of SSC's other lines.

I don't think he went off because he disputed the truthfulness of the statement. He went off because that statement is very commonly made as a slam against Medicom figures (as if being 1/2" shorter makes them inherently inferior to Sideshow's products), and by association, Medicom collectors .

People dont have to wait for SS's PPO, he can be had at other shops. Monstersinmotion.com has him for 150. SS isnt going to be cheaper.

Ok

1. Dave's comment is being taken way the **** out of context.

2. Medicom's Figures are shorter.

3. In reply to #2 it doesn't matter to me. Medicom is making some cool figures and I'll be glad to have them.

4. Why the hell am I being called a rimjobber and being brought up in a discussion I wasn't a part of? :rotfl

Don't feel to bad about #4 I was too. I think its just the frostbite Nash has on the brain.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I know when I comment regarding the size of Medi figures, it isn't to say I feel they're inferior or anything, it's only a wish to have my entire collection of 1/6 figures all fit together, but like with Jango, I don't think less of him for his size, he's a great looking figure and I can't wait to get him on order, I know I could order him already elsewhere, but I have my habbits for shopping online so I'm holding out for SSC's offering.

I doubt SSC will put the item up all of a sudden without any warning, they didn't when they did PPO's for Boba or the Clonetrooper as I recall, I think it will probably be next week when the item actually goes up for preorder, most likely next friday.
