Medicom Stormtrooper review

I just got my first of what could well end up being a small squad of RAH Stormtroopers today and think it's great. After initially being indifferent to the BH Trooper I'm thinking about getting one now I've seen how good the regular one is in person.
I'd also like to see another version of this figure with the ANH style helmet which I prefer to the ROTJ helmet that this figure and the BH has. It wouldn't be much of a job to retool the helmet and would also open up the possibility of Sandtroopers and also Han & Luke in Stormtrooper armor which would be fantastic figures for the 30th Anniversary of ANH,especially if Medicom stepped up the quality of their human likenesses.
Overall I'm very happy with this purchase which is my first Star Wars RAH figure and am looking forward immensely to the ROTJ Darth Vader and ESB Boba Fett that I also have on order.

Way to go bcm77, I think I'm re-thinking dropping the BH too. It's eithe rhim or movie Spider-Man, and I think after the smoke clears I'll come across a Spidey easier, there seem to be a lot pf places carrying it, compared to the 2,000 BH Troopers.

Now I'm thinking about going back to get a Stormie as well. I already have a Boba Fett on order from HK for $100 plus shipping (as long as the dealer gets enough in stock for my order to stick), and this seems like a logical purchase. I don't care if he's shorter than Luke. This could just be a shorter recruit/clone template.

I think SWS still has the discounted ones. Word is from people who bought it that ONLY the box is damaged. So if you don't care about that and want the figure discounted, $100 is nice.

People have gotten email responces back from SWS and they assure it's just the boxes.

Plus I've read reports on other boards from people who've gotten them in hand saying it's only the box.

I can vouch that it's just the box. I got one and all that was wrong was the flap on the front of the box had a little fold on the top corner.

Okay, I have been debating this for a week but I finally broke down and got the Medicom Stormtrooper from SWS this morning. I hope it is worth it. I ordered the non-mint version, but still $100 seems steep for one figure.
