Nice looking, but the undersized R2 is a real trip at the finish line.

Wow they do look amazing, tempting, but I know the size really bugs me in when hand and I don't enjoy my Medi's as much as my SSC figs

Aw come on guys. Forget your bias for a minute, forget the fact that they won't match up exactly scale wise, and just remember how much you love Star Wars, and you will realise that these just look incredible.

No one's saying they don't look incredible, but for a ridiculous price like $400 for a pair.... it's just not worth it to most people if they're gonna spend $400 bucks on figures that are scaled wrong to each other as well as to the rest of the (non-Medicom) 1/6 world. $400 would be a ridiculous price even if they were perfectly scaled. They do look incredible, but not "200 bucks a piece" incredible IMO...

...and let's not forget the eventual Medicom discount (i.e. massive price drops a few months after they are released due to poor sales)

Wow, these are amazing, but the size!!! R2-D2 looks micro in that's guys hands. He looks to be even smaller than the Hasbro R2. WTH?!

Look very cool, gonna see if I can find them at 35-50% off in six months or a year. Disregarding the price issue, I think medi did a great job.

And seriously, why hasn't SSC make this pair already? is there some sort of the release schedule with Lucas & co? It would seem Medi break more grounds than SSC does and I don't see that as a engineering or R&D issue.

I don't think the scale is an issue, and I've got the money, so I can't really see anything but the lovely shininess of Threepio and the gorgeous lights. You could say I'm blinded by them, I suppose.

You'll all be kicking yourself about missing out on these, mark my words!

Aside from the size, I will say Threepio looks like an amzing bit of engineering.....smf unlike early pics, the metal coloring looks dead on to the movie

Don't forget the lights! The lovely, lovely lights...
