That video is very impressive... Sideshow will really have their work cut out for them.
Anything less than the Medicom will be a big disappointment.

I don't think the scale is an issue, and I've got the money, so I can't really see anything but the lovely shininess of Threepio and the gorgeous lights. You could say I'm blinded by them, I suppose.
You'll all be kicking yourself about missing out on these, mark my words!
I'm going to use my $400 on something nicer.
I want something that's gonna be to scale with all of the Sideshow pieces.
Yawn!
I still don't get this obsession with scale. Just stick 'em in your bathroom, or somewhere else your SS figures don't live!
I think mine might have to live on my desk at work, they'll be the talk of the office.
Like Sideshow's PFs of these characters.
$400s worth of action figures in the bathroom because they don't fit with the other figures!
For the same reason I've gotten rid of most of my other Medicom figures, if I spend that kind of crazy cash on them, scale-wise, they better fit into my display. Additionally, it's lame how you neglected to quote the other issues as they're equally relevant detourants. They ain't even to scale with each other.
I could probably live with the scale if it weren't that they aren't even in scale to each other. C-3PO and R2 are a duo, so having them be off in relation to one another is unforgiveable.
I was only yanking your chain.
Obviously I want other people to join me in splurging on these so I don't feel guilty about dropping so much cash on 'em!
I know this has been discussed to death, but in that video I didn't feel like they were that out of proportion to each other. I certainly wouldn't have noticed it without seeing comparison photos.
I thought so too. I would think 9 out of 10 people, even Star Wars fans, probably wouldn't notice that R2 is half an inch too short. That's not to excuse it exactly, because I don't understand what the issue is with getting their relative scale right, but I'm not sure it's that huge of a problem. The scale relative to other figures is a bit more of a worry (for me anyway).
Says the guy R2's accurate height in relation to 3PO posted in his sig.
Hey, I'm the one guy in ten who would notice.
