Scale issue doesn't bother me (too much) it's just the price tag that's hard to swallow.

This is incredible, still we continue discussing sizes and prices?, c'mon people , These are two excellent figures, it seems to me that it is necessary to be a more creative with the posts, and if to prices we refer, here we are many that we spend " FORTUNES " in things that do not deserve such a price, like PF's, Busts, Dioramas, 12'' etc, etc ..... And I can give thousands of examples of this , It is obvious that I am not going to put these figures with my Sideshows , For my they form a part of the same collection, but separated between them .
I have 33 years old and collect since 16 and really bother to read as " Kids " who collect minutes ago attack to the brands with silly arguments.

I'm 36 and have collected since I walked out of the movie (SW) way back in '77 with my father and into the lobby where I purchased my first (of many...) SW figs/products and I have the right to state my opinion-- and I will.

Yes Josh , i agree and understand you , But in certain cases, they are not jokes are offenses, and it seems to me that the offenses are not productive.

I really like the SW Medicoms (and the Indy ones for that matter as well) that I've bought (despite some QC issues and the scale thing) and I'd love to add the Ep III Anakin as well as these droids-- but for me, as a collector, the $$ tag is just too outrageous. So I'll keep an eye on possible future sales.

Maybe "price" isn't the right way to phrase it, in my mind it's "value." I personally feel that nearly $200 for each of these figures is a bad value.

That kinda makes you sound like the rookie here bub. If you've only been collecting for 17 years, most of the people here, bringing up the points about Medicom have at least a decade on you. JK120 said it best. It's all about value and most of us who're posting against it feel that while these two action figures are nice (I don't think anybody is debating that), they just do not meet the $400 price tag.

Wanderer: I have little worry. Having owned versions from both, I can honestly say Sideshow's Vader spanked Medicom's and their Clone Troopers and Stormtroopers have done the same. Not only that but if I'd waited for Sideshow's I'd have had enough money in the bank to buy 2 of each.

I still have my Jango which is great! I just can't add for the price tag those figures which would keep me from getting a outstanding SS piece or HT piece.

It's ironic how when others state things like this they're called apologists. I won't use that term, but what I will say is that you simply can't look at a piece like this without seeing the good AND the bad. Just like Medicom fans didn't hesitate to nitpick the ____ out of Sideshow's Stormtrooper for all it's flaws, Medicom's are open to the same dissection. If you don't like that, then I suggest you skip over the posts you can't handle or utilize the "ignore" feature.
