When I originally saw pics of these guys on Rebelscum, I thought they were unannounced 1:6 scale versions of the droids from Sideshow. Now realizing that they are Medicom, I'm disappointed.

Really? I thought they looked pretty darn impressive! I am very tempted by them now, especially seeing them in context of all the other figures.

Although I noticed that they were careful to place them in their own space so as not to point out the scale difference! :lol

That's what made me disappointed. When I realized they were Medicom, I knew right then and there they would not fit into my collection.

Ah! I thought you were doing a dig at Sideshow! This is how I interpreted your post:

"I thought the quality was so bad, they had to be Sideshow versions. Now that I know they're Medicom, I'm disappointed at how bad they turned out compared to their normal offerings."

:lol

They are nice, even with R2 not being in scale with C3P0.

Maybe when they hit rock bottom closeout.

Not willing to drop $400ish on the pair. Hasbro's (while inferior) will do for stand-ins until Sideshow releases them.

It's not the eyes, it's the sockets underneath them. As I mentioned a few pages back, they're not quite the right shape.

This is one of those cases where I'm not bothered about small inaccuracies though. The essence of the character is firmly in place, the gold chrome is amazing, and the light-up eyes are the cherry on top. These are must haves for me.

:lecture:lecture:lecture Still not $400 worth of impressiveness though.
