Don't be afraid to post, I am getting them. I can understand people's gripes but if you dig them that's cool. :chew If they look like ____ in person I will return them. No big whoop.

I will get them eventually

The lights are lovely though.

Anyway, you all just keep on waiting, I'll be buying this and enjoying it now. And hey, if the SSC one is better I'll get that too! :)
:exactly:

I'm in the same camp as you, can't wait to get this guys. If the SSC versions can top it, I'll get them too.

I am afraid to post this, but I think they look great.

Big chance I am going to buy this comic duo.

And I am not a big Star Wars fan at all.

Dont be afraid, everyone have different opinions, if u like it, u like it.

They do look great, they're just expensive.

People keep saying this, but they're not that expensive. Here in the UK they're cheaper to get hold of than Hot Toys stuff, and Sideshow figures are nearly as expensive as Medicom to import.

I am not digging 3p0's face really at all as well, looks off and well..i think he should have a silver neck.

Oh noes! Pre-order cancelled.

Sarcasm aside, I do agree that it's not 100% accurate. I guess it's just not a deal breaker for me.

I'd say that little astromech looks just about perfect... Makes you wonder why Medicom didn't make both of these pieces bigger. I'm sure they would have gotten the a ton of SS collectors to buy had they done so.

I still don't get it why no one has made a 100% accurate C-3PO yet. There are tons of pictures available officially, and it is not like there's any human likeness to follow... even the 1/1 scale bust is off... it is quite annoying.

I think C-3PO's likeness is harder to capture than a lot of people think -- especially when it's scaled down. And I think most people probably aren't as picky as we are, so maybe companies figure it isn't worth trying to get it 100% right. But believe me, I understand what you mean. As someone who owns the Sideshow Life Size C-3PO, I don't understand how they managed to get it so wrong. It's still nice, but there are huge accuracy issues with the head.
