Not a big fan of Medicoms SW figs, I gotta say that they both look impressive. Unfortunately the price point is just too high.

Scale is an issue for me. R2 is too small and Threepio will be (no doubt) out of scale for the Sideshow line; given the price on these, gotta pass. I'll wait for the Hot Toys version (in conjunction with SS, of course)

The dome does look squat but, the center eye placement looks fine..maybe its a slight hair off in postion due to the dome being squat, as you ,mentioned.

I doubt i would buy these, i am sure SS could do a better job eventually.

You Sideshow fanboys really do my nut in though. How can you not want these amazing figures with something approaching LUST!? As as lifelong Star Wars fan, these are a dream come true.

Sure it is a nice figure but, it is definitely way too much and the only thing it has going for it is a light up feature. I am sure SSC would release this with light up feature and removeable panels with accessories,pop up sensor scope and removeable compartment for ROTJ Luke hilt. I could see the EX also being a holo Leia.

Anyway, you all just keep on waiting, I'll be buying this and enjoying it now. And hey, if the SSC one is better I'll get that too!
