Medicom's R2 and 3PO

I'm not totally digging them. If I have to wait a few more years for Sideshow to make them, I'll wait a few more years.

If you want the droids in your 12" collection, I would get these now or be prepared to wait several years for a preorder, then another year or so before they start shipping.

I might just get the 3PO if he's not like 9" tall. Medicom 3PO, Hasbro R2 and the SS ANH crew plus my Mark M. Chewbacca and I'm basically done.

Man, getting confirmation of no R2-D2 in 2010 makes me want to drop the 1/6th line altogether.

Yeah, it's disappointing. But the Hasbro version is fine aside from being too small, and actually looks better than the Medicom one.

All the picture shown so far make him look too small in relation to C-3PO. Which is a pretty major flub to have the droids out of scale with one another.
