Nice Rampy! You should do a video of your collection!

Only reason I haven't done that or show my entire collection, is I feel like I would be showing off and don't want to do it. If I had lots of people asking then I might consider it but again I don't want to turn this site into a Metal Gear JD site where people compete to have the biggest and best stuff

Rampage do you have the MGS3 Premium Package?

Which one? Either way I have them all
MGS 3 Premium Package
MGS 3 Subsistence Premium Package
MGS 3 3D Premium Package

solidus, i posted that 2 days ago!

rampagesss, awesome haul. i was looking at those for a while but then ended up taking them out of my watch list.

They are pretty cool, and usually in the past they have gone up in price. But they are making loads more with the Phantom Pain they will still be pretty easy to find later on i think

just scored the mgs3 premium package brand new for $85 shipped last night! i finally am getting one and for a steal! im so happy. i just need an mgs and mgs2 premium package now........................and maybe an mgs4 one.

You opening it or keeping it boxed up?

No shagohod if you keep it sealed, decisions

No, it doesn't have the wrap on it so technically it's open. But everything inside is sealed. The box is immaculate. I can't wait to display the shagohod.

Honestly, that little Shagohod is probably one of my favorite MGS figures. I have no idea why I like it so much because it's just a chunk of rubbery plastic with no articulation. The box art for it is awesome too.

That's an amazing score, I've seen opened boxes selling for well over $100. Personally, I'd be hesitant to open something like that, but I'd love to see pics of your Shagohod :lol.

Yeah, im excited. Ive had a spot for the shagohod and the premium package for a long time, just waited for the right time to jump on it. Not sure i really should have spent the money at this moment in time, but deals happen when you least expect it and you may never get another. Collecting is a ***** sometimes.

No articulation at all? I thought something would move. That sucks. It must have nice shelf presence though, right?

Well, the Shagohod in MGS 3 didn't really have any movement that's memorable - aside from the two front threads, being able to elevate the entire body of the tank.

Imagine if 3A made one. Speaking of Koto, I wish they'd make some MGS statues. They would be fantastic.

While the video shows the proper way. Mine does not feel as easy as yours looks.
Mine surely does not come off that easily. Mine feels like it is going to snap.

I removed mine another way. No pics (been meaning to do this) so I have to use your video.
If you just pause the video at the first second it shows decently.
Then pausing just after removing it, 5 seconds, shows the joint area with the 2 halves together I talk about.

I learned this through my first attempt at removing the railgun, which ended up with my fully disassembling the railgun so I could release the clip (while feeling safely) from the inside.

Where you pinch the pivot point to remove the gun, just above that is the little piston looking piece.
You can fairly easily pull the smaller grey rod out from the larger black one.
Popping it out of the ball socket will allow you to lift and rotate the part that the smaller grey piston is snapped into.
Basically that piece acts as a pin holding half of the railgun joint. By lifting the piece, it allows you to rotate it. By rotating it, it allows you lift the pin out even more, thus removing it.

To replace. Line up the two halves of the joint, slide the pin back down/in, spin it around, snap it and replug the piston part.

In the end, I feel much better around slightly bending the little piston rod rather than trying to pop of that gun section.

So I just went back threw like 100 pages looking at what I have missed and god damn! There had been a million announcements since I have been gone. The MGS2 Snake is an odious must but is he likely to have the new $100 price tag on it or will it coincide more with the other MGS2 fig prices? Those new statues look great too but they are for the two games u are least about. I really am looking forward to MGS 4 playarts but am not really looking forward to MGS3.

MGS2 Snake is from the Figma line by Max Factory. It's 6 inches tall and will cost around $50.
