Finally managed to figure out how to pose Ray(thanks to Super king), then when out and bought some batteries.

So here he is, my Metal Gear Ray!

Since early days, I've spent well in excess of £10,000 ($16,000) on MGS alone (mostly down to artwork).

MGS art is immensely expensive. I don't have any rare drawings or whatever, but I've spend a lot on promo posters . I'd really love to have one of Shinkawa's prints some day.

I've tried in vane for years to get a Yoji original.
Never been a print fan so I only go for original art.

I like the prints although of course nothing beats original art.

The prints usually come well made with great print methods, but if a licensed print costs £400 i shudder at the price of a piece of original art

It's strange because once you break a certain price barrier, you don't think twice about it the next time.
I used to buy a lot of 2000AD art, mostly covers and once you get in the cover business it can spiral out of control.

Yoji's stuff is like Ralph Steadman's originals, never sold.

I dont have that kind of money. Ill stick with the art book collecting and enjoy what i can. If i had a nice wall for something like that i might consider it. It just isnt in the cards for me though. Ill just be happy to have 2 3a rexs and a ray. I know where i can get an incomplete bambaland rex for a lot cheaper than retail. All i care about is having the extra antenna and the old snake fig with it.
