I was wondering if you guys were interested in this figure, I didn't see much chatter about it. The face is glorious.. this figure.. is burdened with glorious purpose. To be the first truly amazing Solid Snake figure ever.

There was a lot of buzz about it before, but things sort of quieted down since there hasn't been any updates (till now).

Looks passable. Personally I think it's the paint that's partly ruining the sculpt.
I mean of all versions of Snake that they'd attempt the MGS1-style "shady eyes", it's the MGS2 version that didn't need it.

Ah well, still better than a lot of Solid Snake offerings out there, and MGS2 Snake has been a long time coming.

Reminds me of the recent "HD" MGS card promos they've been using recently, it actually looks like a dead-on likeness of that rendition of Snake.... (love it or hate it)

Definitely SSB face. At least it's Snake merch, I'll gladly pay for it. I just wish his gear wasn't all one tone...

Agreed the dark shading around the eyes is throwing it off but its not too bad. Will definitely pick up, max factory makes some good stuff.

I've never bought a figma, or even looked in to buying one. Whats the price range and height likely to be on this snake?

I have 5, some I bought after inflation but two that I got ran for $50 which were just released. Not too bad. They're 1/12 I believe.

They fit in with my Figuarts collection in scale.

I'll definitely pick it for, as a said the head is passable and the rest rocks so I'm not gonna pass it up cuz of the head.

It's most definitely the SSB head though without a doubt. The likeness to that is very good

And SSB Snake has blue eyes, while MGS2 Snake has green IIRC.

It appears that Figma Snake has two exclusive items from GSC's online shop

Figma carton box like the orange one

And MGS 1 SOCOM w/ removable silencer

He also seems to have moving eyeballs like The Avengers Figmas

It's just the photos distorting the colours, some look more grey, others look more blue or green

The sneaking suit is a Blue/Grey/Green mix anyways depending where you look at it in the game

The SOCOM was used by Raiden in MGS2 too
