It's seriously the best PAK MGS figure released so far. That's an incredible price, as it usually retails close (or a bit over) $100.

Thanks guys! Went ahead and placed an order for one. Got MGS2 Raiden yesterday for $40 shipped from Japan but it'll take a while to get here. Now if could just get my hands on a PAK Solid Snake. Got outbid on one last night at $165, way more than i wanted to pay.

They move. But I'm too scared to make the thighs go outward since feels too difficult to tell where the joint is and I feel like I'll break the joint. I'd like to put him him in a deep crouch, but can't.

Hey, did you read the instructions i posted for you a while back? you should be able to give him a big ol legspread :joy

Standing on his own? Hell yeah :clap
also great choice in games demons/dark souls ftw

Couldnt wait anymore, just emailed sideshow to pay off my ray. Hopefully ill have it mid next week. Im dying to have this thing in hand. You guys who have it are lucky and should be proud!

Yeah I did, and I will keep them for reference. I don't think making the legs wider wouldn't really make him at all much shorter. Plus, I don't have the room for a deep wide legged pose.

I was really enjoying my $50 MGS2 Demo way back in 2001 until I noticed that.

Ever noticed that RAY's wings look like two giant "third legs"? The really do look like a shark's peen. Just take a gander at those silver-looking "head" platings at the end :lol.

Shinkawa's got an odd style of mech art, for sure.

I remember seeing in the early trailers, or demo? That the ribbed section on the under side of the flippers, actually twists back and forth but they cut it from the final game. I guess it acted as propulsion.

In any case, I'll see if I can get my REX and RAY posted up in a few days. So far, I didn't notice any QC issues with RAY, whatsoever. ThreeA really shipped out a good figure this time.

I remember seeing that. It would have been cool had they kept it that way and our 3A rays had that as a feature.

I really wish they'd make 1/100 scale versions of the 3A figures. I love the Koto versions, but it'd be really nice to have 3A's paint jobs out of the box.
