I don't know anyone who buys the PAK figures for the head sculpt

For awhile now they have been pumping out crap heads, it's a shame but it is what it is

I think nothing beats the PW headsculpt, it's easily the best of the bunch and I can't fathom why PAK can't just improve from there.

It totaly baffles me! I'm still hoping when they get around to MGS2 Snake they'll make improvements: ie a better sculpture. Im curious who does the and who sis Peace Walkers?

I don't buy that the extra is for the extra paint detail, like they said. Totally ridiculous prices! Im betting resale value will be awesome hence i bought 2 XD.
I remember someone explained here why Japanese figures are increasing in price bu i totally forgot why! I'm gonna say Japanese tax or something

They can keep the extra paint detail, looking at the paint on the face your paying extra for a worse job

Resale on the exclusive with probably be high though, it's not just Japanese toy companies, it seems to be everyone!

Despite the price the thing is doing surprisingly well, I think it already "sold out" in some stores

I'm glad preordered it

Well figma is known for their quality. The paint detail is also for the body.
They can't handle realistic faces but Snake seems to be stylised which Is good. I also loved the RDJ face with the Ironman figma

Not really liking the head-sculpt, but everything else on the figure looks great.

I really love the head actually (on the official photos at least) Metal Gear designs always seemed stylised rather then realistic to me.

It's also the best SolidSnake face we've had so far after Revolmini IMO.
But here's to more Solid Snakes in future!

The yen rate is lower so most stuff you get from Japan can be pretty cheap. I bought a NECA Kratos in God Armor from Mandarake that went from 2500 to 3900 after shipping and a store fee, and it was still $31. On ebay he's a lot more than that. Same thing also with my D-Arts Mega Blaziken. It kinda helps with Figma Snake but still it's awful, no justification will save it. I'm still saying Kojima has something to do with this

I think the figure could have been worse, it could have been based off the abomination that it the Legacy MGS2 Snake. Dear Lord is he ugly.

He doesn't look too bad at all actually. Yeah he's not true to the actual mgs2 render, but it's okay. I don't think we'll ever get a true mgs2 Solid Snake figure since the game came out so long ago. Customs are probably the only way to go about it at this point.

I like that render alot. Face looks good cause its mostly in shadow . But yeah i don't like that face, its the same one from the MGS3DS renders. looks better there somehow. I admit the figma does have its similarities
