MGS2s Snake face need an update, while i love it, Its not detailed enough to make figures of..

Maybe this has some connection but I noticed this when i was sketching used MGS2 head as a reference, and for the like of me i couldn't get it right. Where as MGSV BigBoss was very easy

I actually like this render. I don't understand why he doesn't have a FAMAS but other tha. That I think it's cool.

Snake only had the Famas in the trailers for MGS2. He used the M4 in the game. The render also took away the two tones of blue and white pads on the gloves

Yeah, I also hate how they're passing off Big Boss's face as Solid's. Personally, I think they could at least reference the mgs4 Young Snake face to separate Solid from Big Boss. Still a cool picture though lol

Thats not a problem for me, they where all supposed to look the same anyway :dunno

I like that render alot. Face looks good cause its mostly in shadow :rotfl. But yeah i don't like that face, its the same one from the MGS3DS renders. looks better there somehow. I admit the figma does have its similarities

Thats the only problem, he should have longer hair

He's really buffed there but I like it :drool

Anyway, I assume you guys saw the illustration Shinkawa did for Max Factory, accuracy to the in-game model was not the objective (I wish the hair was just a little bit longer) :

That's only if you believe the events you play in the game are the actual ones that happened. Also not that it's that I important but if that's supposed to be an M4 it's not accurate at all.

Nice. Does the body look as disproportioned as in pictures?
He's pretty well in proportion albeit a bit taller than other PAKs which is annoying. If you take off a his scarf he looks like a giraffe.

Is there anything g different with the PAK Venom Snake first production release?
Guess we wont know till the regular production model rolls out, there isn't any 1st edition markings on the box or anything.

His AK actually has some weathering which i think is a first for Play arts

His head was a real pain to change, I didn't feel like mucking around with it again so no pics atm, the goggles look much better imo

Any news on Hot Toys Raiden? we haven't seen any new pics or heard of anything...I think he may be delayed

finally finished my custom old snake. i got a new dremel tool today that work bought me so i was able to take his neck peg out and chop it down and redrill it so his head sat at the right height with no gap, now theres no giraffe neck and gap under his head. its also not too low like the medicom head sits. im happy with the results enough not to have to work on him again. it also was a bummer that i had to recut open the seam on his suit and roll the shoulder over because his arm got dislocated because the shoulder pin fell out. i glued the top in on both so thatll never happen to me again. heres the final pic.

Great work CQC he turned out awesome :clap

Looks good, Jason. The head-sculpt reminds me of the old digital concept art for MGS 4, prior to when the "new" renders were released in 2008.

Got a little carried away with collecting Ground Zeroes on the PS3

I now have the reversible cover version, Australian, UK, US, German, Hong Kong, Japanese, Korean and Russian versions
Think it might be time to stop now :lol don't really need the Italian, French or Spannish versions

Metal gear is like Pokemon to you: "You gotta catch 'em all!"

Still md we never got that alternate cover in the UK. Literally every Metal Gear cover here features Shinkawas artwork. But this one :-(
