Agree. if I was in to collecting exclusive stuff I will definitely get one of them...
But as I'm not, the regular release is good enough for me as well.

Seeing how I got all the other CE of all the MGSs, I'll pick up this one. But as for the console, I think it's ugly TBH.

Im hoping amazon japan has something with a figure. For me that arm will be just as useless as the MGS Rising lamp. I'll still pick up the US edition because of the steelbook.

I just realised there's no artbook. Hopefully there's a separate release. Artwork is the only aspect of MetalGear that never disappoints!

The Rising steel book with Shinkawa artwork and the MGS3 steel books were awesome

Something about this feels off. For one thing, it's very unusual to see a MGS LE being released as a standard, big box package with miscellaneous items - e.g. map, DLC, steel book case; the usual fare of what you'd expect from a standard LE release. Konami should have included an art book with the lithograph, instead, and plastered Shinkawa's art all over the box.

In any case, 1:1 scale T2 Endo Arm > Big Boss Peasu Arm

I don't have a PS4 as yet, so I guess I'll pick that up if I can get my hands on one. The color-scheme on the console looks strange, but the controller looks awesome with the gray on black finish.

Konami's not even trying anymore. They used to have such awesome-looking MGS LEs with Shinkawa's art. I'd rather have that, than an ugly arm any day.

The best collector's edition thus far was probably MGS3: Subsistence.

Absolutely. It was minimalist at best, but I've never seen a MGS LE sell for so much on Ebay. That's a true collector's item.

I think the lamp is a lot better than the powerfap.

The lamp is great if yours doesn't short out, while the arm is weird and obscure. The steelbook looks lame too, it's seriously just the regular box art that looks marginally better. At least other steelbooks usually change up the art or make it look nicer. The thing looks underwhelming...I'd rather that bronze PAK over the arm frankly.

The console is cool, but I'm probably going to go for an Uncharted or Arkham Knight bundle.

It's like final fantasy loosing the classic Amano title artwork. You just don't do that.

Also I find it strange the leather look box, it's really not metal gear at all... Infact the whole thing is very westernised
