My reasons for losing interest are threefold:

1) I found Guns of the Patriots to be enormously disappointing.
2) I completed the first three games so many times that they became predictable and boring.
3) I grew tired of Kojima's implementation of sophomoric humour.

The Phantom Pain looks excellent, though, despite continued use of Kojima's... unique comedic style. The first two games featured the perfect ratio of absurd humour and seriousness. I especially loved Sons of Liberty. :)

You summed up my feelings on MGS pretty well!

Yeah, MGS used to be my favorite series of all time. But now it's just ok to me. Too much silly non sense convoluted story have ruined the series for me. Used to be every MGS game would be a 1st day purchase for me, but now, I'm waiting for price drops on them before I even pick it up.

You people aren't missing much anyway. While the gameplay of each Metal Gear game has been consistently amazing, the stories went downhill after MGS2/3. MGS4's story is cringeworthy and PW's nonsense about nuclear deterrence, A.I weapons and peace made me wanna slap myself in disbelief.

Kojima simply had no way to follow up MGS2 and it shows. Thankfully Metal Gear Rising was a sleeper hit, where the story doesn't really take itself too seriously which made the game that more enjoyable.

That we can agree on. If Silent Hills can't be done because Konami and Kojima can't come to some terms then Konami better have something up their sleeve or they are going to deserve their eventual demise.

Sorry to break the combo here guys, but there's something that's being bothering me since the release of the figure I will ask about:

Can anyone share the trick to put MGR's Raiden PAK sword sheath like in the game? you know, on his back? The peg that goes on his body can stand the weight of the sheath so I can't figure out how to make it look like the game.
Any tutorials will be more than appreciate :)

EDIT: I would love to make this pose but just CAN'T :C

While i haven't done this myself people say using nail polish in the joints can strengthen them. Just make sure that after you apply it in the joint to keep moving it so that it doesn't just glue the joint in place. Apparently clear nail polish does the job.

Read more about it online, as again I haven't needed to use this method on anything yet! Proceed with caution

I'm a pretty frequent customer with HLJ. I've had no problems with them, for all the years I've used their services. They're as good as Amiami.

Their customer service is top notch. Speaking as a long-time customer, they will go above and beyond the call of duty to replace or refund you for faulty goods when AmiAmi would maybe offer you a 5% discount on your next order if they're feeling generous.

Thanks for the tip of the nail polish! But I'm also wondering about how to place the "arm(?)" that holds the sheath, I might assembly it the wrong way :/

Have you tried twisting the "arm" around so the hinge is facing towards his back? While they have visible hinge joints, they also swivel on the actual peg which allows you to turn the "arm" so that it's arched on Raiden's back. I strengthened the joints on my figure with superglue and it did the trick for me (it's not stuck, rather I used it to make the joint tighter).

EDIT - Just for reference:

Ronri, just what I was looking for, thanks for the tips, definetly pic 3 is what I was looking for. I will try 'em asap :)

On another note, guys have you checked the new euphoria/speculation about the doctor from TPP trailer vs the head transplant one? Here's the link:
