I remember hearing those tales. It's still funny that as the price goes up, quality seems to go down :lol

I wouldn't say the quality is going down, to be fair most of there recent figures are much better quality

There's the bad apples from the bunch but even the paint is getting way better. The big problem is the scale problems within the same line

Thinking back to Play Arts before they did the Kai line, the FF line were like £20-25 each :lol

Cloud and Fenrir/Daytona were only £50

Yeah the quality is back up I guess, but I think it did vary at times in 2014.

I just hope they fox their sculpting with their next MGS line. They have the potential, look at Cloud!

MGS2 PAK Snake come at me!

Probably right, they've gone balls deep with throwing out as much MGSV **** as they can possibly can. The silver lining of their departure might mean leaving the collectible lines to pursue the older games.

I'd say the only reason they "abandoned" the older games is because its MGSVs time to shine.

I'm sure they'll resume after MGSV buzz is over. That is is Konami is ok with figure companies

I'd like to think MGS2 snake is happening but if they do go back to old I think they'll do 3 & 4.

Neither Raiden or Solidus are sought after or sold out. Liquid too

They could be overproducing but I think price and popularity of the character is a big factor

I thought Solidus sold out? I know Raiden and Liquid are still up on many sites and are heavily discounted.

MGS 3 and 4 PAKs wouldn't be bad honestly. But I want MGS 2 Snake, we deserve that much after the year of Raiden in 2013.

At the time Solidus was the most expensive pak ever, £120 after the £50 MGS1 was a huge leap

They sat around for ages I didn't even buy one until it dropped in price. The price was a big jump back then

Oh yeah, I remember that. But I think Solidus justified his $120 a bit with all they did with him; the tentacles, his suit and all. If anything, $100 wasn't unreasonable but I'm glad to have bought him for $70 at least.

Nah I agree, although £80-100 would have been a better pill to swallow

I think the double rep plus some was bittersweet for most. Right now it seems like in line but back then it was huge

It'd be like Solidus coming out now for like £225+

Probably. Hell Meryl is still around for retail, if not discounted. The timing on some of the PAKs was poor after Solid Snake honestly.
