The problem is that they're proportionally taller than 1/6 scale figures. Their head to height ratio is larger so if you did scale them up for the heads to match a 1/6 scale person I think you'd end up with a figure that's about the same height as a Pred if not taller. You can kinda see that with the Medicom figure there and Medicom doesn't have oversized heads or anything.

Yup totally. I often use that same comparison. Loomis did a lot to inform my early forays into figure drawing. Figure Drawing for All It's Worth is such a fantastic beginner's book although I am more a fan of Bridgeman's style of planning poses which uses contour instead of rough line representation of bone structure.

Granted I have gotten just generally better, but part of that is a different process from start to finish.

Thanks man, I don't know if you can see it, but Snake looks out of proportion with the Pred. You'd probably want Snake's head to be about 30% larger. To be proportionally correct I'd think Snake would be about shoulder to shoulder with the Pred.

With some slight forced perspective they would work well, but right next to each other I would expect them to look too small.

This is one of the older figures next to the Medicom Snake, who's small for a 1/6 scale figure (around 10-ish inches). The new MGS Kai stuff might be smaller, I don't know.

Crazy that this one is even smaller then Medicom. Medicom is smaler then the BDU Version as well...

Here's a review of gray fox I found, it has a size comparison with the older play arts stuff, gray fox appears to be larger.

Same price as Bamba, sans delivery of course. If customs is handled better for me than SSC then bamba will have been the right choice for me, if not then it would've been better to go through SSC for the Reward Points.
