Funny how said person was back a few times already. Like I said before, this forum's going to hell.

I just ask you about the story whenever I have questions or think about something :lol. That said, I've gotten back into it today. I hate when I start a chapter in this series, I have to force myself to put it down. The series is way too addicting for its own good.

After getting done Vagabond, I need a break for a week or so before I start something new, which will probably be Lone Wolf and Cub. I burned myself out in Vagabond, but not to the level of Berserk :lol

Christ I don't want to open up that can of worms again, but there's plenty of those douches in this place. I don't know why one needs to latch onto a person on a toy forum so hard and constantly lap their ass. One would assume, outside of a toy forum, their lives are very void of anything.

And speaking of "she", I think it's back and all the boys are swooning in the movie section. Nothing but predictable rubes.
Oh man I forgot to mention, we've been over this Solidus. It, not she, he, or they - it. I don't get this either though, why all of that...on a ****ing toy forum? There's gotta be other...forum types that can get 'results'....right? Is a toy forum just guaranteed to not have competition? :lol

I can't bold this more. And Pliss, I have to check out Berserk sometime too, which should I start with again? Manga or anime?

Manga since the anime stops a quarter through the story. It's the most consuming and compelling story I've ever encountered.

I concur. Pliss got me into Beserk and I read them sporadically while on duty or other down times. It's really good. If you have never read a Manga before I could maybe see getting turned off by some of the gore or sexual content but the character development is top tier.

On discussion of some things, depends on what it is but usually I'm not into discussing some stuff. Like Attack on Titan, I like it and got into it in 2014, but I never found a reason to discuss. Same with the likes of Kill La Kill though I did love that. I'd give opinions but it depends. The main reason I got into discussing MGS was since I fully experienced the franchise the same year I joined SSF, saw a new game and figured why not? Probably a horrible idea in hindsight...oh and that member, that is who I was referring to :hi5: :lol

I feel with most media, it's a you get what you see. Everything tied up in a bow, where its never that with MGS. The only time it was it was MGS4 which was quite polarising, which again lends itself to discussion (like BvS)

I really wanna get into Vagabond. I love the artwork. It's the best I've ever seen in manga. Like art more than comic book, another thing Japanese excel at

I really enjoyed the original anime, fascinating story. I was soo excited to hear they were remaking it to a multiple movie franchise. What ashame the animation is horrible with all the CG.

They've announced a black knight trilogy. Finally it's come to fruition, and I think they may have learned from their mistakes with the animation and the CG will be toned down

Besides the engrossing story, the main allure to it for me is that Guts is just a human, no magic or elixirs, his strength is all him.

Vagabond was great, and the art I find more beautiful than Berserk. But when it comes to incredibly fine details with tons of line work, nothing comes close to Berserk.

I hope the new Anime is good. That first teaser was pretty meh with that fan made level art they did for Guts face. Although the trailer recently looked more promising.

got my 3 mgs2 mcfarlane figs today, theyre such garbage. all of them broke right out of the box. if you open these better have superglue handy and plan on losing articulation. so aggravating!!! the 3 ray pieces seem fine though thank the flying spaghetti monster in the sky. if youre wondering which ones i got it was snake, olga, and ocelot, which came with the torso and both legs.

if anyone has fortune, solidus, or raiden for sale please let me know, thanks!

I think Solidus said he has all of the MGS 2 McFarlane figures

I have a love-hate relationship with the McFarlanes. They're hard to come by where I lived as a kid, and I finally got them, they looked like ass. The ads on Gamepro and PSM made them look like the coolest toys ever. My 15 year old poor self was genuinely bummed by the deceptive photography, thanks McFarlame!

I was gonna ask if no articulation but then I remembered the old days of McFarlane were bad tiny statues :lol never got why they were so popular, they still look pretty bad today.

I have all the MGS 2 McFarlane figs, but I'm only selling the complete set :monkey3. If anyone wants them, I won't even overcharge. I bought them for $100 in 2006, I'll sell them for $120 to cover shipping charges.
