Got the Limtoys Deluxe Venom Snake today. Takes a little work to get him in order, but he’s a damn good figure. Props to those involved!

He goes pretty well with the Mr Toys Quiet. Unfortunately, I can’t snap a pic of them together, because I’m in the process of trying to fix the dye stain spreading along her arm.

I think they teased the line once, but they never confirmed anything. I don't care that much either but I always wanted a 1/6 snake, guess this one takes care of it. I'm thinking about getting the camo version as well

The jacket on Snake is kind of tighter than I’d like. Is there a chance I could damage the pleather sleeve by keeping him posed like that, holding the cigar?

I'm considering buying the figma Solid Snake reissue figure since that's my favorite version of the character and there aren't any other options available. It's so expensive tho. My only complaint is that they did not include his signature gun...wtf? I believe it was a website EX in the original release, but why not include it this time? It makes no sense. It's like getting a Batman figure without a grapple gun or a Rambo figure without a knife and M60, Cap without his shield, Thor without his hammer...ok..the point has been made. Not only is it overpriced, but they don't include a signature weapon?

Not me. I had that pre-ordered, along with a slew of other things, that I flat out cancelled. These bloated prices can kiss my ***. Going to start speaking with my wallet. I have most of what I want and I’m tired of prices skyrocketing every year and a half or so.

Seems everything has at least doubled, and in some cases tripled, in the last five, almost six years. That’s nuts. It’s one of the largest jumps I’ve seen. Hot Toys has only gone from 180 to 240 on average, but other smaller scale import figures have gotten quite out of hand. Anime statues and PVCs, play arts, figmas, Figuarts, Mafex. It’s all getting ridiculous.

Pleather is very unpredictable

Yeah, I hope people eventually switch over to whatever Asmus has started using. Their Dante jacket is just amazing. One of the most innovative things I’ve seen in the hobby in a good while.

I reverted back to a neutral standing pose with his head cocked to the side. Don’t want to risk it.
