Just wondering does anyone know anywhere i can get the Metal Gear Solid 2 limited edition tin

I know there hard to find but I only need this and the South Korean box art version and i have (as far as i have found) all the different MGS 2 versions

I think I'm going to try and complete the set, I'm really liking these Medicom figures. I need to get Vamp, MGS2 Solid Snake, MGS2 Raiden and MGS4 Old Snake.

Thinking of picking up the PA Ninja and Solid Snake too, because I really want that Solidus and if I'm going to get him, I'll have to get these two as well.......anyone know where the best place to pick them up for a reasonable price is?

looks like they took the pictures with an original monochrome gameboy with a webcam mod. wtf. if i went to any of these conventions id have a sweet hd cam.

im standing on top of metal gear rex in game right now and hes green, ashley woods rex is pretty close to accurate. im looking at both at the same time. so for all who dont like the color, its correct, sorry. except for the lights. im going to see if i can mod the "spotlights" warm white and keep the cockpit blue. im pretty good at led work. hopefully theres some screws somewhere.

Im still not sure what colour the figure is, since its different in ever picture. But Rex was never green. In MGS1 and MGS4 its clearly Grey (with a very slight blue tint), and in the Twin Snakes its the same colour as the Kotobukya kit, which only has slight green camo patches

for what it's worth, in my opinion I found that Rex in MGS1 definitely had a green tint instead of blue.

MGS1 did indeed have a bluey colour palate in the hangar levels and my eyes see green when it comes to Rex.

i don't know why i hate that green soo much. I even liked the brown looking Rex Koji initially posted.
Im also been getting more peeved about the head articuation over time. Like, really they gave us a blue light that no one asked for instead?

seriously, hes green in mgs1 and grey on mgs4. i was playing the game last night. the scene is green and the rex matches it you guys are looking at him in far away pics, or on a normal off white lit tv/monitor. when i was standing on his head it was nothing but green. i put the pics up and compared it to the game directly. i have an led tv not one of those crappy cathode lit ones. my colors are on. i also run led monitors too. think about it why would they change the color from the game. i have no clue why they decided to go with grey with mgs4. maybe by then it had gotten dingy and grey from time, but i doubt it. just sayin, beat me up if you want. i know what i saw DIRECTLY in the game.

oh yeah on a side note the kotobukiya kit is going to have no color. it has to be painted.

The problem with the colors isn't if Rex is green or grey, it's that the game is a bit more neutral with the tones where as the model has a harsher difference between the patch work.

If the model would have had a lighter forest green and a darker silverish-grey it would have been more accurate.

We'll have a better understanding of everything when someone finally gets this thing in hand and does a review on it. Just have to wait on ThreeA to ship this thing out!!

Agreed. The in-game REX had a more "muted" green, than the ThreeA model.

WRONG. There were people in this thread stating that Rex was blue,grey or charcoal in color. Go ahead and check for urself,its there. The issue with the green color isnt an issue with me or a lot of others. And as far as the colors not looking right that is your opinion and not everyone on here shares it. Anyways they need to hurry this **** up so I can enjoy him.
