Aren't they the only one when it comes to MGS!?

Well, there was McFarlane Toys, and Konami also produced several 12" MGS 1 figures. But, of course, that was years ago.

Compared to McFarlane and Konami, I'd say that Medicom did a better job with the MGS line (especially with the head-sculpts). But, from what everyone's been saying, Hot Toys could do a better job than Medicom .

There isn't even a question. HT has pulled so far ahead of everyone else doing 1/6 toys now that it isn't even funny. Medicom is nice, but Hot Toys is amazing.

I'll just have to take everyone's word for that. I still don't own a single Hot Toys figure... this must change.

Yea I have some of he original MGS McFarlane Toys. But I mean currently right now it's only Medicom...so we can't say Medicom is the best when it comes to MGS, because they are the only one right now that is producing MGS toys and collectibles.

HT would do an awesome job no doubt...makes me sad. HT is king when it comes to 1/6th scale figures.

You might be able to find a Croc Cap at $200. Though, at that price range, expect the figure to be: loose out of the box, heavily used, and with some moderate damage (paint rubbing, covered in dust, minor cracks in the rubber suit, etc).

Now, as for the Tiger Stripe Snake - HELLZ NO! Even a used Tiger Stripe will go for $300 plus on Ebay.

My advice: save up another $150 - $200, and get a new figure. Trust me, you'll thank yourself in the end.

YEAAHH, this came in the mail today! The box was factory sealed, and the figure was mint-in-box before I opened it.

A side-by-side view of my Tiger Stripe and Croc Cap figure boxes (with my mom's fine china in the background). Until I get my hands on a few display cases, these two figures are staying in their boxes for the time being. I spent way too much money, and I absolutely don't want dust (and other stuff), to tarnish these beautiful mint figures!

Never mind what I said, that was wrong. The price I paid was $300 shipped. You would think that I'd remember how much I paid.

Dude, I wasn't being dishonest, if that's what you're implying. I only found the figure a few days ago and bought it. But yeah, it was a better offer .

All i have left now is Tiger Stripe Snake,i will keep that one as i need at least 1 figure to represent Big Boss even if in my opinion these Medicom figures are not very good which is why i sold Zombie and now Croc Snake,i have these because it is better than nothing.HT or EB needs to get the license...

Well, I can say if Enterbay ever got the MGS license, Snake's headsculpt would be absolutely perfect!

Unfortunately, I don't have a single Hot Toys figure . But, I've seen pics, and they look quite amazing.

Sounds good man. Dying the camo in the new Snake figure is a must. I absolutely hate how the Cold War camo looks like. I mean... common ! Snake will die if he wears a bright orange get-up.
