If you're losing bids like that chances are people use in a bid sniper program it happened to me with the exclusive UK mgs4 le. I was so mad I thought I was getting it for like 75 bucks. I bid like 5 times within 10 seconds and kept getting outbid its so frustrating.

Hey Jason I was wondering, is your MGS display area a dedicated room? I'm kinda undecided between a detolf or more shelves for my office/guest/MGS room. Renovating the area next month.

They didnt end at that price though. (i lost out on the Raiden in the last 3 seconds! and id bidded £50 more than the bid was at the time)

I didn't see the end of the Raiden one so i can't comment. The Snake didn't sell for £100 then he re-listed it, took it down and the re-listed it for £120

I'd be on equal footing with you if I wasn't buying up other lines. I think I'm doing pretty good considering keeping up.

Most of us don't have the complete 1/6 Medicom line, despite there were only 7 of them. I wonder if I would complete the set eventually?

Speaking of ZOE, is the HD collection any good? I heard the framerate was bad. I had some really annoying gripes with the MGS HD collection that I don't think the reviews ever mention.

I agree with the medicoms. If i could bring myself to pay the price people want now i would. MGS is my main collection but i do collect other stuff and it's been an expensive 2 years. Backtracking getting other figures i was missing that are liked more and better than the medis

I can't buy things i don't like the look of though, so i guess it helps me in the long run. If i ever have the cash and nothing else to buy (which will probably never happen) then i'll pick them up. I think i'm gonna try and focus on customs and PAK for MGS now, and whatever else HT release if any

How many of them Medicoms do you own, Frank?

None To be honest i only got into 1/6 about 2 years ago. Before that i'd only ever collected smaller scale like the mcfarlene etc. Then when i got the itch and broke the 'price' barrier i went wild and had to run around finding all the discontinued figures from the things i liked. I wasn't clued up either so i overpaid on lots of things.

Now they are figures i wan't but will have to get when i can. Much like completing the Yamoto 1/6 except i only need sniper from those. I haven't changed the bodies or anything on those yet becuase it's all extra £££ that could be going towards the continuing PAK line etc

Plus in the UK these things only pop up once in awhile and usually it's the cold war version or the squares camo. usually £150 each. Which usually goes towards a figure i like more than the Medis

It's just that the Naked Snakes are one inch too short. They fixed the scale with Old Snake and Raiden.

Off-topic question, I always wondered how you guys afford all these cool stuff and manage to live. And I thought: Maybe Im living in the wrong place. So I want to know, compared to the regular american:

Is ok to have a monthly salary of USD$625 for a job of 45 hours a week?

Im seriously wondering to start applying for a job in the states. Im a publicist. But I want to know how economy is work for foreigners who wants to have a legit job, you know, with all this document and migratory stuff.

I make about 2,700$ a month if there happens to be three pay periods in one month. This is after taxes mind you.
