There was a big fiasco with customs being put up in this thread, now they're limited to the custom section of the respective creators.

There was a certain member who was posting pics of a custom HT Snake and it looked like it was official from HT and caused a lot of people, including myself to think it was that.

Customs weren't the issue. But, there was one member in particular, who kept making stylized, Hot Toys-like posters for his customs. It fooled some folks, and got them upset afterwards since they were waiting for more MGS figure announcements. It was practically trolling.

Thank god him and the other one who uses the excuse "language barriers" as an excuse stopped posting in these threads.

That'd be it. Post customs until you're blue in the face, I have no issue. But to flaunt something like that out there when people were itching to get a BDU HT Snake? It was nothing but a tease.

He never offered anything of value to this thread other than bombarding it with his customs and no "collectibles."

He would only derail conversations to get recognition for his customs.

Anyway, should I get the Play Arts Meryl? On June I'm done paying taxes so I wanted to celebrate with with something MGS related. I can't get pass the inaccuracies and anime style of the figure but if she compliments Snake I'll get her anyway. I still have a long way to go with the PAK line.

I put my full investment since the original Naked Snake Sneaking Suit version. I do kind of regret not getting the mechs even though I don't care for them much.

200$+ for the Cocoon was ridiculous.

Agree on the mechs. I wasn't to keen on them since I thought that those were the only mechs they might release. And so it was with 3A and Kotokubiya, so next.

I was thinking about Meryl too, but Im gonna buy it next month I guess, so any deals are welcome (that's for you CQC lol)
