I got mine through an eBay seller. of course is a 30 day thing where I can't see my purchase anymore. last time I pre ordered something it just arrived when it came out I never got a shipping notice. hopefully I get it this week or early next week that would be nice.

Hey guys, any word on whether or not Kojima is going to do a signing session at this years Comic Con?
I only know that they are going to have those iPhone cases and a Limited Edition Shirt for sale. Oh and the the Blue Raiden PAK

Hey Man, just a bit of a warning, that place has got really sucky reviews for online orders. I was considering getting mine from them as well but I changed my mind after I read the reviews. This was a few months ago though. Hope all works out fine for you!
I think Kojima usually shows up at SDCC. He doesn't sign shirts or other types of fabric. He'll sign anything else.

. I don't always agree with his direction on MGS, but it's always a great opportunity to meet with him and Shinkawa and have them sign something. It makes your MGS collection feel all the more complete.

I usually plan SSF get-togethers whenever Kojima visits NYC. I hope I can meet some more of you guys, if he comes back next year.
I wish I could visit the U.S one day! Plenty of business holding me back here.
I cancelled my Anime Island Raiden and ordered from BBTS. I think I will end up flipping out the one from Comics America since they overcharged.
This one's going on Ebay . The collector's baggie from BBTS should give me a good price (I'd hope).

I cancelled my orders with both Comics America and Anime Island and bought one from BBTS.
In fact, I got an email from Anime Island and they said they didn't get ANY stock for this, even though they took a ton of orders. According to the guy at Anime Island (who I think is making stuff up!), he said Diamond only received a very small portion of the allotment they were supposed to get (1K) and that they divided those up among the top retailers who buy from Diamond (BBTS, Toy Wiz, etc) - not sure how much truth there is to that considering I'm seeing the figure pop up on Amazon and other places for $75 - 85 shipped.
Anyhow - what ticks me off the most is Anime Island has been sitting on my money since last November when I pre-paid for the regular Raiden figure - they've basically had my $70 in full for almost 9 months...and that's some b.s.
Never ordering from them again.

That's awful news about Anime Island. They charged me $14 last year for my pre-order. Is there any way to get our money back?
