I cancelled my orders with both Comics America and Anime Island and bought one from BBTS.

In fact, I got an email from Anime Island and they said they didn't get ANY stock for this, even though they took a ton of orders. According to the guy at Anime Island (who I think is making stuff up!), he said Diamond only received a very small portion of the allotment they were supposed to get (1K) and that they divided those up among the top retailers who buy from Diamond (BBTS, Toy Wiz, etc) - not sure how much truth there is to that considering I'm seeing the figure pop up on Amazon and other places for $75 - 85 shipped.

Anyhow - what ticks me off the most is Anime Island has been sitting on my money since last November when I pre-paid for the regular Raiden figure - they've basically had my $70 in full for almost 9 months...and that's some b.s.

Never ordering from them again.

Did they charge for any cancellation? And do we have to email em to get em cancelled? They are a ****ty company man. They have screwed up a lot of my orders.

They haven't shipped mine yet so I was thinking of cancelling the red raiden order. Do I have to email them? I don't see any option for cancellation on my order summary page.

Can we do anything through PayPal - like file a report against them?

Anime Island said they'd cancel my order and refund my full payment.

They can't legally NOT refund you your money for a product they didn't deliver. I've got the credit card receipt to prove it and my credit company will simply do a charge back IF I don't get a full refund within the alloted time.

I'm going to email them again to confirm they're refunding the money.

No idea what their issue is...especially when he complained in the email about "scalpers selling the figures on eBay for $170+" - he was doing the same thing with the regular Raiden figures whey they first came out in Feb/March -

Is there anybody else watching this whole Raiden repaint fiasco thinking, "This is going to be crazy when everyone realizes they bought 15 slight variations of the same figure at premium prices...?" I don't get the different raiden colour thing.

I'm in the same boat, I never cared for color variants.

I agree to that whole color variation...but I'm like all OCD of having the entire set...I have all except the color variations and those premium versions of the Peace Walker (I'm fine without those, it's not like I can find them anywhere)

On topic of the Raiden variants, anyone have an extra Yellow or White Raiden they want to sell? PM me if we can work something out
