I don't know why everyone was so annoyed about the little snake pilot being ugly. It wasn't that bad as long as you weren't taking macro photos of him and it was still a nice addition with the poster and free shipping.

holy crap what's wrong with that regular PAK MGS1 Snake? He looks so off, more than normal

It's because it was taken with a harsh flash. Nothing looks right in that kind of lighting. I know a lot of people don't like the PAK Snake but I love his face sculpt and the paint on it myself.

Oh, I get what you mean cause the lighting on your pic looks nice. I think PAK Solid Snake looks nice, just sometimes lighting doesn't work well for him compared to some other figures.
