I was kinda hoping that might be a Kubrick variant. It is one of his most iconic looks.

It definitely is. With the camouflage we knew him as Naked Snake. But, at the end of MGS 3, he was Big Boss (with his uniform). Getting a brown trench coat to top off the uniform would also be nice

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of the stealth suit as well . It would be nice to see it one day on an RAH figure.

The proto sneak suit would be crapped on mby Medi, look how poor their Raiden suit quality was!

I was over at the medicom runboard a second ago, and someone brought up a good point. It would be really cool if this figure of Big Boss was dressed in his formal military fatigues, like at the end of MGS 3! That would be so sweet...

Absolutely. Either Kubrick or RAH, that look definitely deserves to be immortalized in cheap plastic.

You're probably right about the stealth suit. But, the stealth suit doesn't appear to be such a close fit, as Solid Snake's octocamo. Perhaps Medicom can be able to pull off a stealth suit without using cheap rubber. Hmm....

If they choose to continue with Big Boss,i dont mind at all actually.I was close to ask Darren Carnall if he could sculpt me a Big Boss Head from MGS4 but the price was pretty sick so i backed out.

It only makes sense. He should get the part or we should hit the streets, if the long gestating film ever gets off the ground that is. At this point I'm more liable to believe in unicorns than a Metal Gear film.

I was even mulling over the idea of swapping the Medicom Bruce Wayne head with Big Boss but I don't have a trust fund so that won't happen anytime soon...

Screw this nonsense about David Hayter playing Snake; I don't mind him co-writing the script, I mean after all he did write X-Men (and nothing else, although I digress).

And I like Hayter... to a certain extent, having played 1 and 2 in English I was pretty attached to him, but after I played Snake Eater in Japanese there was just no going back..
