Well i just won a Ray on ebay for $315 shipped from this guy eBay Feedback Profile for honestgrader if this works out im canceling with sideshow. Even eating the NRD this will come out to $355

i was gonna bid on that and customize it then resell it. its new so it should be legit. great score man, hope everything goes well with it. i bet the seller thought they were going to gross more for it or they were doing a charity bid because a retailer probably gets them cheaper than that. i always think people who start a thing like that off at $9.99 can afford to lose money on it.

i just noticed that there is another up now. he has an awesome rating, seems legit.

Thanks guys. I don't think RAY is overscaled to REX now that he's standing. The problem is you can't really get RAY into a deep crouching pose. I wish you could bring his head further back. If you could, you could dip his body more forward and lower to the ground.

nice shots plis, im gonna do this stuff on thursday when i get mine. ill get 2 nice poses and reorganize and clean my top shelf. it seems you had to rotate the hips backward to get a solid stance, am i correct? i took the day off on thursday so expect the head to be completely disassembled and re led'd. are his eyes that dark blue that came on rex? mine will have white. im going to see what i can do about getting the water cannon going, it may or may not happen but i got some translucent blue plastruct to build a prism out of and i was going to use a white led behind it. it looked like i could hollow out the inside of the cannon to insert one in there but i need reference shots of the cannon to make a better decision. hoook me up someone with closeups of the inside of his mouth. oh btw, rexs neck joint is on the boat from japan, i hope its useable.

What happened to your REX that it needed parts?

And yeah I had to twist the legs back from the leg itself and not the hip joint to keep the mud flap things facing forward and hanging over the front of the inner thigh joint.

One thing that bugs me about my REX is that the backpack doesn't hold the closed in position going forward to the head all the way, it pulls back a little after moving it forward. Although I'll take that over the loose ****ing jaw my last one had. The jaw on this one literally slam clicks in place.

Awesome pics, Plis. It really sucks that RAY can't stand on its own like REX. I don't really like the look of the huge plastic stand that has to be used at all times.

Damn right. It's so UGLY. They could of made a more subtle looking stand. It's like "oh look, RAY is coolBUT THAT STAND IS HUGE!

This is one thing that really disappointed me about the figure. The legs don't flex enough to do the low crouch or the flat swimming position. His torso can crouch really well, but then the legs are left very tall, which looks kinda dumb. I really wish we could have done this position, but he doesn't have the articulation in any of the joints to match it.

I finally decided to just put him in his resting state.
