Just picked up the Revoltech Mini at my local comic shop. Love the packaging and that it has tons of accessories. Pretty fairly priced, I think, too.

No problem, I didn't even notice that on the first one but got the olive drab ver. a few days ago and noticed it's sculpted with the body. Still for the price it's pretty good and a whole lot of accessories.
just scored a full set of udf 2 figures for $90, good deal. rebuying the figures i have sold off. it sucks, ill never find a variant mgs2 snake ever again. i never ever should have sold my figures, i completely have seller remorse.

Edit: The face, especially, looks much improved. Makes him look more confident on top of having more natural and even skin color.

Not sure man, he looks a little streched out to me but i agree that the paint looks great.
Try using the shorter torso, i think thats whats doing it.

What are the general opinions of the Figma, Revoltech Mini and Nendoroid Solid Snake figures? Thinking to pick up some or all of them. The reviews that I've seen seem like a pretty mixed bag for each.

I only have the Figma Snake, I think he's one of the most fun figures in my collection. The paint apps on the face aren't 100%, but the articulation and accessories are top notch. It's not going to happen, but I'd love to see Figma do as many MGS characters as PAK. Hoping they'll at least do more MGS2 stuff beyond the Gurlukovich soldier, like Raiden and Solidus.

Yeah, the only thing holding me back from Figma Snake is the paint job. I would sorely be tempted to commission a repaint from someone more talented than myself.

That Snake has all of the colors you'd see in a cheese burger.
So glad I cancelled it. I got the Sneaking Suit version on order, that's at least a completely different body.
The Sneaking Suit Big Boss fig doesn't look too bad in comparison.

I got the Ground Zeroes version and have the Sneaking Suit version on pre-order (still need to change that to AmiAmi from BBTS and their stupidly high pricing). I'm still undecided on this version. Don't know if I need multiples of Snake from the one game.
I almost ordered the Tiger Stripe version a few times now... but those colors. I'll probably pass.

To take my mind off of my broken raiden heres a couple of pics of snake. Got his mp5sd in, just trying to build up a bunch of the weapons he actually held/used in the games. If anyone has an idea let me know.
