Is your Carl Gustav M2 already at Rank 5? In my experience, that's the strongest launcher at your point of the game. You have to pay GMP 378900 and get to level 83 R&D to unlock it.

My Carl Gustav just got up to Level 4 and my R&D team is currently at Level 66.
Any Experience with the XFIM Launcher?I need to reach level 73 to get it and that's what im working towards right now.

That's also another powerful launcher, really good for the Chrysalis. Max out the level of your launchers and you should be able to defeat PW2. I don't remember using any special launcher to beat him - just a lot of patience, I guess. Hehe.

I guess i have to spend alot of boring time getting the best possible soldiers i can get right now,sucks

I maxed out my Ration and Curry Rank,but what does that help?I wish you could upgrade the amount of recovery items you can carry,would help alot,or increased Supply support.It shouldn't be easy but increasing carried recovery items by just 1 could be the tiny difference between victory and death.

Ah damn it,i have now a B ranked R&D team which is the best i can do right now.Ap scanning isn't on the HD collection which makes it even harder,with PSP i read that you can easily get A and S ranked soldiers if you bring your PSP with you to several places.

Really sucks too because im only 1 level from getting the C.Gustav Rank 5 which i really need to beat PW 2 extra ops right now.

Can you raise the level of a section by gaining GMP?For example i use a R&D soldier on a mission to earn alot of GMP,does that help raising the R&D section level?Or doesn't that help at all?
If it was 4 or 5 levels away,sure...But just 1?So close and i can't do anything about it until i beat the impossible PW 2.

Yes, the PSP version was easy in gaining A and S-rank soldiers, because wherever you go, you get the opportunity to recruit new soldiers and you can always drop your bottom soldiers as there's always a better recruit.

Well did it help?I can do absolutely nothing right now as my entire R&D team is level B.Raising GMP that might help is my only chance right now.

It did bro. I was able to raise some E-ranked soldiers to D or even C just by maxing out their Health & GMP.

I am experimenting/attempting it for the past two (2) nights to measure how many missions before a D-ranked soldier maxes out his stats and gets a C-rank.

A question though,if i max out my R&D soldier's Health and GMP,and should get an A rank.Will his R&D stats alone go up to Level A?That's the only thing i care about right now to get that last level up so i can upgrade my Gustav.

Try playing Co-Op with a more-experienced player online, and Fulton the enemies that you encounter.
I did that a few hours ago, got myself some A-ranked Intel guys only becauae he is waaay ahead of me and I just started playing PeaceWalker again (too busy with Arkham City).

Unsure if it's the entire line of stats that will improve, or just the highest out of the soldier's skillset.

Well i tried today with several of my R&D guys.I played as them in solo missions to gain GMP and health.They started good but for some reason my best ranked B soldiers stopped gaining anything from missions,i just thought it was because they have maxed out their potential.With 2-3000 in health and under 3000 GMP i find it very weird.

Maybe that's their maxed-out GMP and Health, considering that their specialty is R&D? What is their Battle ranking? E?

Extra Ops 49 POWs should have A-S rank R&D soldiers.

Yup i know,ive googled that.BUT the problem is,i can't unlock those extra ops with better soldier until i beat Extra Ops 118 Peace Walker II and that's what im struggling with.
My best chance is just playing plenty of easier bosses and try ranking up my Launchers which i tried yesterday with fresh extra ops missions,the Monster Hunter missions lol.

I'm thinking of what else we can do to maximize your potential to beat Peace Walker II.

The only way I see this working is if you play multiplayer. There are a lot of folks playing online who can help you kick Peace Walker II's ass, although I understand that you wanna go do it alone.

I mainly play the multiplayer/Co-Op Missions to get better recruits (I do the levels which I haven't reached yet). Go with some player who already has the Carl Gustav Fulton launcher, and Co-Op to the missions where there's a Sniper on top of a cliff. That's an S-rank R&D soldier, and that'll get you leveled-up.
