Right now,i regret selling Croc Cap snake a while back...new Big Boss game is out and i'm in a hardcore Big Boss mode right now :D

just Ordered the re-release Tiger Stripe that is now out, plus the Cold War outfit Snake.

Hey guys.. I just finished the LAV battle, and I really like to re-do the missions in between the "Main Plot" missions to increase GMP & weapon usage experience.

Do you guys know which point in the game can I Fulton highly-skilled soldiers? Or am I too early in the game for that? :)

having trouble with the controls and its harder than anything else; seems so sophiscated

I wish he'd make a movie out of MGS too..
But for the meantime, have you seen the non-profit movie Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy?

Since it's a non-profit movie, it's ok to distribute it. Here's the link: https://www.mgs-philanthropy.net/

Don't expect a Hollywood-caliber movie, but it's got good video-editing for a non-profit movie, and faithful to the MGS saga! :yess:

HIDEO need to come to canda so I can meet him.
I hope he makes the MGS movie.

I know what you mean. Croc Cap Snake is by far the best MGS figure ever released, period. It took me months just to save up for it. I'm never, ever going to part with mine.

Btw, I can't believe how short this game is. I started only a few days ago, and now, I'm 3 missions away from completion. It's definitely a great experience for an MGS game, but not on the same calibur as MGS 3.

The best yes but not worth spending 300+ on a poor figure quality wise,i just bought the Cold War version for 140$,which is fair enough.

Yeah, the figure could certainly be more durable, that's for sure. But regardless, I just love croc cap Snake so much :love. In terms of looks (from the splitter face-paint, to the woodland camo and sniper rifle), it's THE perfect representation of Big Boss. Right now, if I didn't already have this figure, I'd gladly spend $300+ again just to get it. Worth every penny, in my opinion.

just bought it on ebay.
This figure is a must for me ASAP.

Full showcase Review once I get it.
I also got zombie snake medicom 12" figure.

MGS #1

Congrats man! I can't wait for your reviews! I'm still holding out on the Play Arts figure, and waiting for it to drop my local Kinokuniya store in Manhattan.

Finished chapter 1 last night, and yes...this is a full fledged Metal Gear title...might as well be called MGS5. Dont hesitate to get this...its very addicting.

Well, I just finished the entire campaign of Peace Walker (on solo!). It was definitely a great experience. However, in my opinion, this game is not the "MGS 5" that Kojima claimed. In retrospect, the setting for Peace Walker is most definitely a side-story, just like Portable Ops. In fact, I'd even go as far as to say, that the Peace Walker chapter isn't needed at all for the MGS time line.

Some questions were resolved regarding the Boss and her final mission, however, it's not like we needed Peace Walker to tell us those things. Those specific questions were already answered for us in MGS 3 and MGS 4, but they just needed some digging around.

Don't get me wrong, Peace Walker is still a great MGS game, it's just that I wasn't expecting for it to be another side-story. But, I will say, that after finishing the game, I have a lot more respect for Big Boss' character. He is a true revolutionist, hero, and anti-hero all in one, battling against the times, against a world gone mad.

It is not bothering anyone else that his moustache is separate from his beard? Looks really odd that way.

Yeah it bothered me too, in MGS3 his beard was connected to his moustache but in Peace Walker its not.

I think the reason for it is
so he looks more like he does in MGS4

It aint that big of a deal though.

Looks great, can't wait to see your review SOLIDSNAKE. Should have some sick articulation being in the the new larger scale "Kai" line. Isn't there a Big Boss in fatigues due to hit as well?
I'm still not sold on Metal Gear Rising but I know this much, a "Kai" Raiden will be insane! :monkey5
