I'm more excited about a Square Enix Play Arts Kai RAIDEN from Metal Gear Rising than I am the Snake figure, but the Snake looks great too!

Wow, congrats. I guess that's proof enough of how bad the economy's gotten :lol. The guy got practically zero profit for that sale (considering how expensive croc-cap Snake is), but I guess that he just needed the money fast. His loss, your gain.

I am getting a wireless router these weekend so I can play online with all of you.

I play coops with my friend at work on breaks.

You'll need a wired connection to your PS3 to use adhoc party. And then after that, you'll have to remote play your PSP to your PS3. That's the only way to play Peace Walker online.

Anyways, it'll be nice if we can play sometime! I have some good soldiers that I need to get rid of, and I can send you a batch.

Edit: Aww too bad. Remote play would work through a wired connection on the 20 GB model, but you'll still need the same wired connection for adhoc party :( ...

bro it told me when I installed ADHOC that I need wireless connection only.

is there a way I can used it with my hard wired ps3 ?

That's weird... the message that I got from AdHoc Party was that I needed a wired connection. Uness of course, it varies from console to console. Basically, my 80GB PS3 uses wifi to remote play with the PSP, and AdHoc Party uses the wired connection to connect to the Internet. Perhaps you need a combination of both wired and wireless for it to work? I'm really not an expert in this, can anyone help out? lol.

In any case, you have me on your PSN buddy list. Let's meet up on the PS3 later, we'll see if you can get set up.

Anyways, it looks as if the Snake Kai figure is scheduled for a re-run on Sept. 10 according to Play Asia. I have it on pre-order with BBTS, but I hope that I won't have to wait that long...

I just got this for my birthday so I guess I'll hafta fight the controls and get through it...or at least try.

So I just sat through all the intro movie and cutscenes and just got to playing again the main meat of the game and wanted t save, couldn't figure out how and figured it had an autosave feature, turned it off but when I went back to play, my playtime was 0:00:00.

How do you save in this game!??

You must still be in the prolong (intro). Yeah the intro has a playable part (mostly for training), once you get far along in the game, you get the option to save once you are in your HQ screen.

The game saves automatically after you've completed a mission. You'll know when a mission is complete once you've reached the goal marker on your map. You'll then see a "Mission Complete" screen that displays your statistics (play time, kills, cqc counts, etc). After that, you'll see another message that says "saving to memory card".

To save yourself the pain of rewatching everything, you can press the start button to skip movies and cutscenes.

just made it to the 3rd metal gear.

WOW ! that thing is SO HUGE.
me and my friend where playing it at lunch time at work.
we where screaming all over the place.
All the people in the lunch room where looking at us.
This game is so awsome.
Probably one of the best games I played this year.
so addicting.

during my work I got a head of my self so I could go sit in the toilet and play for 30minutes before break and then play during break.
:rotfl :rotfl :rotfl :rotfl

SPOILER ALERT!!! :monkey4

Not really, since the pictures of AI robots have been around for some time on the net (especially if you've seen the action figures). It's called the Cocoon, by the way... :)

Nope sorry...no pics, no toys, didn't know there was more than on MG.

BTW I hate the design of the PSP, I went to hit triangle and my hand brushed against the on switch and turned it off right in the middle of player...gey.

That happened to me a few times already :slap. For the most part, I don't have a problem with the PSP controls, but it seems as if the PSP just doesn't work well for Peace Walker in some instances. For example, reloading in the middle of a battle is a pain in the ass with the "shooter type" setting, since my left thumb is already preoccupied with the analog nub, and I have to use my left index finger to press up on the d-pad. It's very awkward to use my hand like that, to say the least. Plus, an extra analog nub would have made a world of difference. Hopefully it gets implemented in the "PSP 2" (whenever it comes out).

On the bright side, Kojima may be considering a PS3 release for Peace Walker. Would be nice to finally play this game online, and use my DS3 controller.
