It's also noteworthy (unless it was already mentioned) that there is a doozy of a patch that has to be downloaded once you get goin into the demo. It's a good idea to get all this stuff loaded now before people start clammering for it on the 21st.

Yeah it took me over 2 hours to download the patch.:monkey2

I'm glad I got my ID without any hassles before Konami's site crumbled under the stress. Konami better get their sh** together once MGS4 comes out, because they'll be looking at situations like this on a much larger scale.
 
Alright, here's the latest scuttlebutt to surface. Neither the Konami ID, or Game ID will be the name you have displayed while playing. During the beta you get to choose whatever name you want to use. So yes, we get to have capital letters in our name, unlike what we thought before. This is too many damn names we need.
 
^ Look, I'm just as excited for MGS4 as everyone here, but honestly, are you going to post a day-by-day countdown until the game releases? It's not like we've forgotten how many days are left considering you just posted "57 days left" a page or two prior.

But hey, I'm not anyone's boss, do as you please. :lol

I managed to get the intial download, but now im trying to download the patch and that it is going SLOOWWW, then times out after like 10mins, i restart game try again starts for 10 mins then times out... man this is very painful... and still have not recieved my confirmation email form Konami Id...
 
Im downloading it now,cant wait to test it.

What a morning.starting with kebab out and got home and saw this MGS demo:D
 
Yeah, most people that have done both dls still haven't been able to get Konami ID. I think that maybe Konami underestimated the fan following here in the US, along with other countries than Japan. And in Japan, HK is like a god in gaming, so this I just cannot understand.

Hopefully all will be well by June 12th. I am taking that Thursday and Friday off for a long MGS4 weekend!!
 
Yeah, they need to makes sure they can handle online a lot better than they are right now. Hell, things are likely to be worse on Monday, and not to mention June 12th. If things suck enough though, they may extend the beta. Halo 3 did that too I think.

EDIT: HEY! Just found out there is a clan option. Freaks Clan FTW!
