Don't know if you guy have posted this, but I just got the METAL GEAR SOLID SAGA DVD from a buddy today and am going to watch it when I get home. What I wanted to ask if it's any good? Worth watching? Just a summary of the games up to the 4th?

I found it verry crappy (David Hayter is not the narrator...) and totally useless.

I enjoyed the dvd I just wish it had more on Big Boss cause I did not play MGS3.

It's probably from everybody trying to get login and get their ID too. Just like when everbody tried to download the COD4 maps at the same time. But this game is even more popular and will be even better.

Um, I am glad he dose not narrate the saga dvd. That voice of a certain character plays a important role in MGS4, from what I read.

But yeah, the dvd does kinda suck. nothing new is shown.

it was in one of the conventions i think when they previewed MGS4, but i haven't seen this in gamestop or other stores, maybe when MGS4 comes out , they will put this, and im going to steal it

It's just a rehash for people that are new to the Metal Gear series, of course if you've played the entire series you may find it boring

I never played MGS3, so it might be interesting to me. And I played them a LONG time ago, so a little rehash shouldn't be too bad.

You take pride in your loyalties? I'd understand MGS, but to Sony? Not that I have a problem with Sony. It's more of an issue with lapping at the heels of companies that could care less about you. They already have you eating out of their hands. I guess you could take pride in that.

I'll stay inside the neutral camp if you don't mind. I guess owning all three current gen consoles allow for that.

But yeah I'll admit, the PS3 does have a great line-up of games this year and the other consoles are going to have trouble keeping up.

I don't have the funds to be able to afford all three systems and all their games. I've been with Sony since PSX early days, and they are my company, my console.

And the controllers work fine, why fix what ain't broke?

Yeah, but it makes you wonder what could have been. When the PS4 comes around and the controller is still the same, I doubt people will keep using that phrase.

What? Don't have the funds for the other consoles? Just stop buying figures/collectibles for a few months. That's what I did. Usually I'd spend a good portion of my pay check for some figures (whatever doesn't go to living expenses). Or you could just eat Instant noodles for a month. (I'm a college student and I'm always broke, it seems). I just wish MGS4 LE wasn't $85. That's very steep for a game. And on top of that, GTA4 is out in a couple weeks and the LE on that is $90. But I'm much more excited for MGS.

For me, video games > collectibles/figures.
