Well he'll prob be more movie accurate with an spadex/wet suit then the armor plates over top with out hindering the articulation... So I'm really looking forward to the reveal and accessories... and Pretty sure an 1/12 89 Batmobile will follow...

didnt the 89 suit have armor plates? i think he did if im not mistaken

Yeah it did... The movie suit was first spandex/wet suit then rubber/latex armor plates placed ontop of the spandex/wetsuit. What I think Mezco will do is have an spandex suit then an softer plastic armor plates glued on top simular of how NECA did for thier 89 Batman front and back armor plates.

If they aim for 1989 i'll be all over it! Batman, Joker, batmobile, batwing, and of course Bob and Lawrence the goons. Maybe even a batcave display dio. Yeah im getting carried away lol

I'd be fine with normal Bats,Batmobile, and a couple Joker variants, I'm not so sure if Joker can even happen seeing how greedy Jack is when it comes to his likeness... But would be pretty damn awesome if mezco somehow did pull that mericle...

Here in Japan, there's basically ONE retailer that carries these, for a big mark up.

I went to their site today and saw they had marked the DKR stuff down 50% off, trying to make space for new stuff maybe? PX Batman, Mezco Ex Batman for $50 each....Mutant Leader for $75......SDCC Mutant Leader vs Batman for $90.

All sold out. Gone. Forever.

I'm just sick to my stomach now thinking I could have grabbed those brand new for those prices if only I'd noticed earlier. I could have taken the PX and the MX and swapped them and essentially created my own PRCC version for only $100. But no.

SOLD OUT.

That's gonna haunt me for a long time.

Any batman 89 is pure pie in the sky right now, nothing is planned.

I hope they ditch the fabric and go all-sculpted plastic for the 89 Batman, that's the way to go, no need to use fabric or go the retarded route which is using rubber. :lol

Except for the cape, the cape has to be fabric.

This statement is wrong.

They will use fabric and prob an softer pliable plastic for the armor plates... Much like teh NECA 89 Batman.

Yeah, the rubber for the armor is fine, but using fabric for the entire figure is a bad idea, not to mention unnecessary.

NECA's hides the joints perfectly fine with their rudimentary American toy engineering. It's all in the design.

It will be fine. This is the way mezco's one 12 line is... They are not gonna change that... It will likely be black fabric suit with the armor plates glued on top just like in the movie.

Ill be happy to be wrong regards 89, but not holding my breath for any time soon, not until prototypes are shown anyway.

Yeah, they're taking their sweet time, if they nail it, I'll be right there to purchase a couple following by my throwing a tantrum in demand of a Reeve Supes.
