I got that too…hell must froze over . When I check my account …I realized I placed the order for Keaton Bats in 2020

3 years ago!:horror

Got the email too. Hope it turns out ok. Such a long wait I've started to rethink preordering mezco stuff. Not sure it's worth it.

Got the email too. The wait really has soured the release for me.

Damn just realized while updating payment info that I ordered it 3 years ago on my birthday..

What are the chances they went back to the more accurate suit of the prototype, knock it out of the park, and those of us who haven't ordered it will be filled with bitter regret?

As soon as I lose interest in this figure they finally decide to release it. :lol Where was this two years ago?

Mezco is stubborn and dumb about some weird things.

I’m expecting this to be another John Wick situation where they quietly **** out a figure noticeably worse than the prototype, and Mezco apologists will forget about it in a week and continue hyping them.

I wish they would’ve stuck with the original body and did away with the PERS gimmick; the head sculpt in the prototype images looked fantastic - I can’t help but feel movable eyes in 1/12 scale will be a trainwreck on a non-anime figure.

I really don't understand this company; it's one of the reasons I look in on these threads from time to time. I think they've produced some very cool products here and there, but for the most part I feel they went too far afield and dropped the ball on design, to say nothing of their production lead times and character choices.

Yet people LOVE them and aftermarket prices on their stuff is whacko. Reminds me a little bit of the Ashley Wood/ThreeA craze from a few years ago in terms of collectors if not product.
