Jesus. His eyes are too big and a mile apart. That was the thing that needed changing from the 2019 prototype, not the body/suit.

Well we’re gonna find out here in a bit what collectors are finally getting.

This is by far the longest Pre-order I’ve ever had. Batman has been in development since 2014. Think about that. I’ve never seen a figure with 3-4 different prototypes showcased like this before.

Hope it’s good. They still have yet to ever show us the other two heads. Only glimpse we’ve gotten is this,

Which I’m not even convinced is 1/12 scale. I bet it’s a 2-up that’s actually 1/6 scale.

As wonky as the movable eyes are, part of me feels that the 2022 head has the strongest Keaton likeness. I just hate the frog body.

I’d really like to see the alternate heads. I wonder if they’ll end up removing one of them, since it almost looks like the mouth is a separate piece now? You can see the skin tone bleed over onto the cowl on the earlier prototype, but the new one has a clear gap. Would all three heads have movable eyes?

You can’t even trust the prototype pics since they’re all photoshopped monstrosities showing wildly different figures.

McFarlane is making a Keaton Batmobile from the Flash movie. With their figures being larger than Mezco’s, I wonder how in-scale that’ll be to this guy?

I hope not. I want at least one head without moveable eyes just in case they’re a disaster in this scale.

The specs state there are three heads total,

• Three (3) head portraits including one with posable eyes

1. Head with moveable eyes
2. Regular head with non-removable eyes
3. Regular head with non-removable eyes (assumed bloody wounded face)

The prototype pics are worthless, like you said. The three heads it shows are heavily photoshopped. I count at least 4 different types of figures from the various shows and solicitation pics. It’s not very honest.

Second pic/head is an actual picture.

The first pic, the one you posted is the same head but with floating photoshopped eyes and a different mouth layered over top of it. You can see where they used the clone tool to put skin over the scratches.

DC did do a run of Shadow Comics so he can have a home here. Now we need The Phantom!

I'm assuming that they wanted to capitalize on the Flash buzz like everyone else and threw out these useless emails in hopes people will stay interested in their long over due figure. Buys them more time.
