Thanks buddy, I appreciate it! The pictures look fine to me, not blurry at all :)

Half of my figures are in museum poses, but those with non-fragile suits that do not inhibit the articulation I play with a lot :) I think I'll have as much fun posing this Batman as I'm having with the SSC 1/6 Blue and Grey Bats.

In the setting now of (what appears to be a trend with sideshow going from double jointed elbow to single jointed elbow, Hasbro MU line bishop with reduced articulation) Mezco has taken a bold step, with Pierre making the statement," No corners will be cut... with articulation". This is huge. At SDCC, a representative at Hasbro stated some figures won't have certain articulation because it is not needed with that figure, and cost. Mezco has decided to do this in a six inch figure and make it affordable.

Big Alien fan, another great pic Durable.

Another plus that I like with the flight stand is the accessory is an easily detachable piece so I don't have to use it all the time

Well, had to contact Mezco. The plastic cowl just won't stay on. Thought I fixed it, but nope. Soooooooo bummed over this. All that waiting, and OF COURSE I get a defective figure. The wait begins...

Anyone dealt with their customer service before?

My black and grey just arrived from Walmart . . .

This is hands down the best 6"-7" figure I've ever owned. Everything from the collector friendly box to the actual quality of the figure and suit is top notch. I'm really impressed with this guy.

+ really nice box and art (don't have to worry about messing up the package)
+ sculpts for the plastic parts are really nice, esp. the reg head, belt and gun
+ easy to swap out the heads, boots and hands
+ fabric suit is really well made, makes Hot Toys snagging Adam West look/feel awful
+ every joint is great, not too loose, not too tight
+ feels very durable, not cheap at all
+ accessories and articulation offer a ton of options
+ DAT CAPE, cape is literally perfection, poses quite well, better than 1/6

- the flight clip and clear support are awful, I don't recommend them, leave them in the back of the box
- Batman's face is a little too pale for my tastes, he looks like a vampire zombie

Like I said, I'm very impressed. It makes the current $20-$25 retail DCC, Mattel, Hasbro, etc. figures look like crap and the $200+ Hot Toys, Sideshow figures like extremely overpriced junk. Both ends I'm always afraid to handle because of how fragile they can be, NOT with this figure. It's pure quality. I never really liked Mezco before (I thought their Breaking Bad line sucked and I was never a fan of Mez-Itz), but this One:12 line of theirs is fantastic. If you're on the fence, BUY one.

I'm definitely buying Blue and grey yellow oval Batman next. As soon as I opened this one, got that new figure smell and handled it for a bit, I knew I would get more.

Bring on comic Dredd and '89 film Keaton Batman!

Man that sucks! I put mine through the absolute ringer of poses and everything is still as the day I took it out of the box day 1. I knew something was off about yours because when you said it detached so easily, I can tell you mine was so tightly grafted yet still movable, I was confused. :dunno

Now I'm worried about my Mezco Dark Blue exclusive, I'm praying it as good as this one

Here's an example of what I'm talking about with the extreme

I pretty much craned his head and neck to the highest up position and then some utilizing that collar flexibility option

Glad you like it DiFab!

What do you think of the hinged ankles, I hate it, Ball jointed ankles would've made this perfect

Don't mind the hinged ankles. Would ball jointed be better? Sure, but the rockers still work for me, I like em.

I like how nicely the holster boot and hands swap out especially. Usually that would result in breakage on a lesser figure.

Balancing him is the problem with the hinged boots IMO. Because the hinges are exposed the weight of the figure loosens the hinges so you can't balance a pose at times. Even if they did an ankle rocker like the SW Black series would've helped instead of a single hinge that doesn't rotate at all :slap

Try to do a running pose whether attached to the symbol base or not, It will likely topple over :thud:

Oh yeah I have the HT, Medicom Alien 1/6 scale. NECA's 2008 & 2014 Alien.

:)

Me too. I have 96-98 medicom alien the black one. I got square enix versions, and some 1/18 scale. I thought I could pose them together in different stages of growth. I know sh has 1/12--but don't know much about it. Was wonder how it compared to square enix's.

I am genuinely excited to get this figure. I have the 2 versions available at BBTS on PO but really wish now i had picked up the mezzo EX as well. The figure just offers so many display options that all 3 are warranted. This appears to be all the fun that DCUC used to be and all the quality costume/accessories of the sideshow 12" figures.

This scale is fantastic for diorama displays and appears to really bring this figure to life ^. great pic with bane btw. :)
. Sorry, didn't see statement--thanks!!!

The figure does all the work!!! Some figures, no matter what you do--something is off.

Hinged ankles? No modern sweet ankle rockers?

There are ankle rockers just the outdated maybe three to four years ago styled rockers. Kind of like the original Masters of the Universe styled ankles, plenty of excellent tilting forward and downward movement but horrible side movement and stability for balance.

I will add that it can balance quite well however you kind of have to bend the knee and rotate the boot a little. It's just an a extra tedious issue that shouldn't be with such a well designed figure.

Ball joints or modern day rockers would easily fixed this IMO. But this design is nowhere near the flexibility the current SW Black or ML have. This is puzzling why Mezco got so sloppy. This figure is 6" perfection with this one flaw :lecture

Even a Neca styled ankle joint or even a screw infused ball would make this special.

I don't think this was intentional, I'm thinking with the weight of the leg articulation they might had to cut corners. There's always room for improvement though and I have no doubt that if they truly want to corner the 6" articulation market as Pierre stated then they would fix this minor issue in future releases.

My strong advice is for Mezco to somehow look at the design that SSC has done with the current Batman and Superman releases in terms of ball jointed ankle articulation

Just as I know they will fix the flight stand issue with the clips. I seriously doubt they will continue with this severely flawed design of wiring and clip stability if they plan to tackle other projects like maybe an Arkham line.

It's a bit annoying but then I think there is no such thing as the perfect action figure in any scale.

Here's what I'm pointing out

The impressive balance is there

but to keep it balancing by the heel like this is because I had to add some nail polish to stiffen the hinge :lecture

Here's where it becomes a problem trying to hold this type of posing

Re: Mezco: 6 Inch DC Figures

The batman and things that go bump "in the knight!"

image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Got mine today, it's damn near perfect! It puts pretty much every figure I've ever seen near this scale to shame.
I agree!!!

Got mine in, but I'm confused on the flight stand. How is it supposed to fit in the base? It looks like the foot peg is supposed to slide out, but mine won't budge and I'm afraid to break it by pushing any harder

Push it out from the bottom.

Use pliers, with little force. pops right out with no problems. you can't do with just your fingers, it's pretty tight. Trust me pliers is the best.
