There are ankle rockers just the outdated maybe three to four years ago styled rockers. Kind of like the original Masters of the Universe styled ankles, plenty of excellent tilting forward and downward movement but horrible side movement and stability for balance.

I will add that it can balance quite well however you kind of have to bend the knee and rotate the boot a little. It's just an a extra tedious issue that shouldn't be with such a well designed figure.

Ball joints or modern day rockers would easily fixed this IMO. But this design is nowhere near the flexibility the current SW Black or ML have. This is puzzling why Mezco got so sloppy. This figure is 6" perfection with this one flaw :lecture

Even a Neca styled ankle joint or even a screw infused ball would make this special.

I don't think this was intentional, I'm thinking with the weight of the leg articulation they might had to cut corners. There's always room for improvement though and I have no doubt that if they truly want to corner the 6" articulation market as Pierre stated then they would fix this minor issue in future releases.

My strong advice is for Mezco to somehow look at the design that SSC has done with the current Batman and Superman releases in terms of ball jointed ankle articulation
Ball jointed ankle? No thanks, modern ankle rockers are the best, more durable and less likely to get loose.

I haven't got mines yet but from what I've seen, Batman easily has better articulation than the Black Series and ML, from the BS I only have Boba and he's suuuuuper restricted, and I have a ton of Marvel legends and none of them that are nearly as bulky as this Batman, like Sentry or Thor have anywhere near the rage of motion this has, in fact, the SHF Broly is also limited in comparison.

If this figure had modern ankle rockers, it would be even more perfect, so we need to tweet them about it so they hear us!

Push it out from the bottom.

Use pliers, with little force. pops right out with no problems. you can't do with just your fingers, it's pretty tight. Trust me pliers is the best.

Thanks. I was pushing from the top and not the bottom. I'm an idiot >_<

I started messing with that flight clip thing, but I gave up after being annoyed and afraid I'm gonna rip the fabric. Way too fiddly

Yea, the articulation on this figure far better then ML figures--there is no comparison. Wait til you get yours.

Hey guys so I thought I was in the clear and then I saw that the cloth suit on my figures right arm is starting to detach from the glove portion of the arm and riding up. I got it from Walmart.com so I'm going to try and exchange it tomorrow. So annoyed because this figure is awesome otherwise. Hope no one else is having this problem.

Did he come like that, or did it happen after playing with him for a while?

Like I said, I'm very impressed. It makes the current $20-$25 retail DCC, Mattel, Hasbro, etc. figures look like crap and the $200+ Hot Toys, Sideshow figures like extremely overpriced junk. Both ends I'm always afraid to handle because of how fragile they can be, NOT with this figure. It's pure quality. I never really liked Mezco before (I thought their Breaking Bad line sucked and I was never a fan of Mez-Itz), but this One:12 line of theirs is fantastic. If you're on the fence, BUY one.

I'm definitely buying Blue and grey yellow oval Batman next. As soon as I opened this one, got that new figure smell and handled it for a bit, I knew I would get more.

Bring on comic Dredd and '89 film Keaton Batman!

Its nice to hear your thoughts,Difabio. This thing looks excellent and I think Ill feel tow same as you when I get it in hand. From the outset I said this looked like the coolest 6 inch figure I've ever seen.

I agree about ball joined ankles. I hate them, always have. Well, at least the barbell type HT uses.

I'm not too sure I don't really remember that being that way from the beginning but it may have been loose from the start also. It shouldn't be coming apart after less than a week I haven't been too rough with posing his arms or anything. And yes they are still out of stock in that case I might just get a refund. I still have the light blue one on PO from BBTS anyway so its not a total loss

UK Stock hits this week of the standard version look out for it in comic book and specialty toy shops. I have been reliably informed that there is not a lot of stock to go around so get it while you can.

Your welcome. I only know because I did the same thing.

Yea When will the blue, and dark blue ones get here? I hope Mezco releases multiple figures per quarter. I really need a Superman, Green lantern or any figure they release next:yess:

Head's up everybody... I just talked to my comic shop. I wanted to add another light blue Batman onto my existing order, so they called the Diamond rep. He informed them that it is now sold out and is no longer available through Previews.

So if you are on the fence about this one, you may want to get a preorder in when you can. Once those preorders are sold out, they will probably not be able to get any more through Diamond.

I know BBTS already has that version makred as sold out, but EE still has it up: Batman The Dark Knight Returns 1:12 Scale Action Figure - Previews Exclusive
