Personally, while I'm dissapointed that there'll be no X-Men in this line, for obvious reasons, I have to say, I'm kinda glad. That means that we'll probably get to characters like Moon Knight, Iron Fist and the like much earlier. Honestly, I'm mostly excited for the street-level characters from this line. Daredevil, Nighthawk, Moon Knight, Karnak (the new vol is brilliant, but the delays have made me turn to trades for this), Iron Fist, Luke Cage, etc, etc...

That is true. We probably wouldn't see a Moon Knight figure for years if Mezco had the rights to X men or Fantastic Four characters.

I wonder if they can still do a Human Torch figure if it was based on the original android character.

I doubt I'll be getting many of these, but modern Punisher is definitely a must buy. I read somewhere modern Cap will have actual scales on his uniform so that one might be on the list too.

My guess he is is coming along with Loki

Spider-man and Deadpool will likely be at SDCC

I still don't think we'll see him until a couple of years have passed, if we do that is, but the removal of X characters certainly helps.

Dunno about that. He's not a big enough name and he'd be quite difficult to make. Unless they go with his SHIELD outfit or something like that as a "variant" to say, Nick Fury Sr.

I don't think the X-Men license will be off the books forever. I look for them to get it eventually. Wolverine in their line with all the variants they could do is basically a license to just print money for them.

I really hope so. There are endless possibilities with the approach they are taking to these figures.

Imagine if they made artist specific versions. I'd order an Alex Ross Superman or Lee Bermejo Batman in a heartbeat.

Well, they've sort of done artist specific already with TDKR, but if they could get actual artist input and sketches, my God I'd lose my mind.

Eh, it depends on Marvel's stance. It's not a separate license, Marvel's just not "allowing" them to produce. They're doing the same thing with Fantastic Four. DST is not "allowed" to make any F4 minimates for a while now, for example.

I've been tired of the X-Men for the past thirty years. Once Wolverine became the Fonzie character and the books proliferated like locusts, I checked out. A break from X-Men merchandise is a good thing.

Cap is the least fav but still looks nice.....I also like arrow, both flash and trek figs...resisting this line will be tough
