And John Carter was an alright movie. That did horribly.

Nope. If you haven't noticed, the majority of americans are dumb____s and can't understand quality. Literally everyone I know, my age, in real life, will tell me that the LotR trilogy is "boring", or "gay"..whereas the transformer movies are "amazing".

In fact, a few days ago I had to listen to some dumb ____ing idiots go on about how the dinosaurs in JP, and Predator/Alien look "fake" and "cheap", and the transformers look "realistic".

It just makes you want to shoot these ____ing morons.
