Plus with the success of the new show and the people who say it will suck will go and see it anyway I have no doubt this will do numbers. Im really optomistic about this movie but I dont see it flopping. Tmnt is to big of a name even now and if it does then this movie has to suck beyond anything imaginable.
First Marvel stinker was IM2. Then there was "iStark Three". Then "The Dork World".
They did good to great at the box office.

I wouldn't put IM3 and Thor 2 anywhere near IM2. Those films were pretty Damn good.

sorry, but turtles isn't going to come close to transformers numbers, turtles will probably top out around 400 million worldwide, and I'm being nice on that, I think it'll do around 300 as i don't see much appeal with this film besides besides people looking for a nostaligic kick. Transformers had revolutionary special effects, it was an event film, this won't be, and considering it's opening at the tale end of summer. this isn't going to do HUGE numbers, but it will do numbers. Not to mention it has marvel to compete with.
well yeah but the ninja turtles have had way much more of a fan base. I know transformers has a big fanbase too but nowhere as huge as the turtles.

Marvel isnt unstoppable . Tmnt has a huge fanbase and most and also this will be marketed toward kids as well who like the new show. it will do big numbers no doubt. If it will be a solid movie has yet to be seen.

This will do very well and be very very popular with the kids today.

I have no doubt we will follow April throughout the entire movie. Her parents will probably come over and embarress the **** out of her while she tries to hide the 10ft tall ninja turtles throughout her apartment without a soul noticing.
The marketing ....wait I think there is none its being handled that badly.

Oh my the wait to see the dino's in Jurassic Park was excruciating as a kid. What was it like 40 mins or more? Worth the wait though

Wrong...Ninja turtles are a hot property and regardless of what us adults think of this movie,kids will eat it up.....2 Holiday season's in a Row,Ninja turtles were the top Holiday items of the Season.I literally saw the Turtles aisle get raped and they would sell out as soon as stock came in.I expect the same thing to happen again...turtles isn't going anywhere in the world of retail toys and now movies.Even if the movie stinks,kids will still want to go see it and there is no refunds even if you didn't like a movie
yep! Turtles is one of the biggest toy properties going on at retail (especially at Christmas time).The movie will likely have the same effect

Yeah, I used to think that too. The Turtles may more than likely be bigger than transformers in north America but worldwide, I'd say transformers blows it out of the water, especially in Asia.

The turtles will probably show up an hour into the movie and we will see Shredder in the last ten minutes.

If it's honestly 45 mins of Megan Fox before a single Turtle shows up I will walk out and get a refund.
