It started good but has gotten great. The first few episodes were mutant of the week type deals to get new younger kids into the Turtles themselves but since they've started bringing in older characters it's become more fun and well written with alot more adult jokes and referances.

It's exactly what the Turtles should be though, lots of mutants and ooze, Shredder, alien robots and crazy vehicles. They've got some nice voice talent as well.

Cool. I'll have to try and watch it from the start.:hi5:

DO IT! :lecture

Loving the new show. And Deckard's right. It's getting better and better as it progresses. They've done a great job in updating them and the mythology, but still having the throwbacks and easter eggs to the original cartoon and even the first flick. Well worth the watch.

I watched the first episode earlier this evening; thought it was great. I'll crack on with the rest this week.:rock

What's the new version of the TMNT cartoon like? I've not watched it.

Where do I begin. Its like taking your childhood and serving it to you in a more modern style. This has to be the best TMNT show i've seen. The development, the fighting, the all around bassasery is all there. I love this new show. Wasnt crazy about the 03 show but this one is just great.
Its funny becuase i thought the CGI would throw me off.

I love the new TMNT shoe. Mikey is hilarious with his naming of things.

I love him in this scene

Great stuff! :yess: :rock

The new show is alright, but nowhere near as great as 2003 was. :monkey2

My main gripes aren't too bad though: NYC is a ghost-town, and Rob Paulsen is voicing Donatello while somebody else is voicing Raph.

That 'somebody else' is Sean Astin. And I think he's doing a bang-up job. Fun to go from watching Special Agent: Oso with my son and then flipping it to 'inja Turtles (as he calls them) right after.

Though Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo have recently gotten a very successful make-over on Nickelodeon, a new big screen, live-action adaptation is also in the works at Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes that will star Megan Fox. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman spoke with CBR about the project, and he seems to have high hopes about the film's possibilities.

"One of the things that's awesome about the relationship I've had with Platinum Dunes and Michael Bay and Jonathan Liebesman and some of the producers, Scott Mednick and Galen Walker on the series, is that it's probably amusing to a lot of people what the press puts out there and what they say people behind the scenes really want to do with the movie, but [Platinum Dunes'] main goal is actually to make the best possible "Turtles" movie with respect to the fans and the core audience as possible.

"From everything that I've seen in the ["TMNT"] script and the development and everything they've asked my input on specifically, it's gonna be an awesome, familiar, solid "Turtles" movie. It'll have everything that fans are gonna want and then some.

"Much like you look at what they're doing at Nickelodeon with the new animated series, it's all based solidly on the "Turtles" foundation, but they've hit the reset button. They've taken it back to the first episode, with the Turtles first time above ground after many years of training with Master Splinter. They're making a "Turtles" origin that is firmly rooted in "Turtles" history, but a slight tweak here and a slight tweak there. It's been enjoyable and the IDW series is much the same, in that it's firmly rooted in "Turtles" history, but multiple "Turtles" universes."

The film is rumored to begin production this April. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles features a screenplay by Josh Appelbaum, Andrew Nemec, Art Marcum, Matt Holloway and John Fusco, based on the characters created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman. The Jonathan Liebesman-directed film is scheduld for a June 6, 2014 release date.

Alans casting is the first thing i feel postive about the movie. I loved him as aquaman on smallville, and hes pretty funny on BMS, hopefully hell blend the serious drama and comedy well. Some of his tweets make him seem like a TMNT fan and he seems postive about the project.

Lol I know that was the guy from bms! Probaly for motion capture and voice ????

Lets just hope casey and shredder look good. I really want to see who they pic for them and as splinter I hope the voice is as good as the 90s movie.
