Michael Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Let's face it.. they'll never get close to the 1990 film.

I know there's a decent resurgence for all these characters nowadays, but it's all about cheap cash ins - not paying tribute to the legacy of said characters - that's not lost on anyone I know.

This film had about as much chance of being good as the next remake, but with the things we know so far.. it'll likely be another watch & forget affair I'm predicting.

Lets just hope casey and shredder look good. I really want to see who they pic for them and as splinter I hope the voice is as good as the 90s movie.

I'm still unsure how they will handle Splinter in the new film considering the turtles are from an alien race and not mutants.

That jack nut Psy from Korea has the number 1 song in the world. It doesn't make it good. How much money something made is not always an indication of quality.

I hope they don't go too cartoony for the Turtles. I'm seriously a little surprised they didn't go 'Where the Wild Things Are' and use full body suits with CGI faces.If the FX are up to snuff, I think this will be worth the watch at least.

I'm hesitantly looking forward to it.

I'd be fine with that. I love the new show. I hope the action/fight choreography mirrors it as well.

I'm hoping for more Rise of the Planet of the Apes than Yogi Bear/Smurfs/Scooby Doo/Alvin and the Chipmunks....
