Michael Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I might have the lowest expectations of this one so far. I'm going to try my best to just enjoy this. It worked for Transformers 1 and half of the third. Visually I enjoyed watching the autobots and decepticons transform and grow as characters. I'm just hoping for more decent TMNT stuff.

It's not like some of the movies and cartoons weren't really bizarre and out there. Like, really, would Mikey having pants really be that much worse than some of the stuff they've had before? Going back in time to Feudal Japan? Shredder being an alien?

As far as I'm concerned - all that stuff; the time travel / whacky outfits / 180' shifts in direction - shouldn't even be on the table to consider. It makes the whole premise of a great, faithful to the original characters / story, a complete farse - & a waste of time in the end.

If they're so busting to want to explore crap like that, why don't they make another ****ing cartoon or CG series, & give the film to someone that actually gives a **** about it.

I can't see it, the shells look way too small compared to the mocap suits. Probably just some fan artwork that someone saw and automatically jumped to the conclusion it was concepts from the film.

What I meant by that statement is they did a lot of weird, crazy **** in the comics, so it wouldn't be too far off if they did weird, crazy **** in the movies.
