I'm getting a Predator vibe from these designs, especially Shredder. I hope we see some official stuff soon. I'm hoping a trailer will calm some nerves.

On a side note who is making the figures for this film and what scale are they in?

:exactly: Said that a few pages back. I think that's the prob with making them roided muntant aliens. :lol

I have to admit, all those trinkets do give each their own character. I guess that's a good thing.

They might look 'cool' and sell lots of toys but first and foremost we should be able to recognise each turtle from their personaility and behaviour. Hope that's the case.

I quite like Don's design.

Judging by the actors they've chosen to play the individual Turtles, I think it's safe to say they'll all have their usual distinct personalities. I'm just hoping that Mikey and Donnie aren't taken to the extreme. Again, eager to see some actual footage. I need to see some action, interaction between the brothers, and what the FX/performance capture looks like! I guess knowing what tone they're going for will help too.

Wow, after seeing that awful halloween costume, my expectations dropped to a new low (and they were already low to begin with). But I must say, after seeing those maquettes, I'm actually really pleased with how they look. Loving Leo :)

I think they actually look cool!

And I'm glad, but my opinion of this new version has changed in the past few weeks before seeing this, anyway.

As a boy I LOVED TMNT. It's been revamped like 5 times since then, and it's not like the TMNT I (and many of us) grew up on in the early 90s was so similar to the original comics that this Michael Bay version is committing some blasphemy that hasn't already been committed by the past dozen iterations. It's not like the comics themselves haven't changed continuity with it's jumping between publishers. It's just another version of the characters, and this version looks cool.

But looking cool is one thing, now if it will be any good is something we'll have to see. The 1st Transformers movie was decent, whereas the sequels drug the overall franchise down, so TMNT might be good as well. And from what I recall, the 1st TMNT movie with it's kind of serious tone was a decent movie with less than great sequels, as well...

I think this movie will be nice and funny, maybe even charming but mediocre and will have a crappy story.
It will probably be okay, not as bad as GI Joe or Transformers 2, but not as great as the original or the cartoon. It will probably be the "Meh" movie of the year.

So I am not really that worried now, Just as long as the turtles look cool and they are funny and witty I will be happy with it. They seem to look cool, So I hope the actors do a good job with the lines and stuff.

Another angle, not sure if it's been shared before, I'm liking them more and more.
