are they still aliens in this one? i lost track.

it's michael bay, expect a blown sewer pipe. lots of it.

Yep there will be **** flying everywhere!! LOL

Apparently not aliens either but who knows what they will change in the origin story. I don't even want to think about it.

Hah. This is going to Bay's first martial arts movie; would you guys classify this movie under this category?

martial arts movie with a lot of...

its still under the BOOM category.

shredder looks like he can open a can. yeah, a can opener. i can only imagine his martial arts sequence, he looks heavy. he looks more robocop than *** hand jack's robocop.:lol

love the AVP gear too.

Shredder is ok aside from being a white man but I don't like Leo's armor. It's really bizarre to see their elbow joints, especially with those muscular arms.

Leo is wearing Nike shin guards on his forearm.... Okay. Looks like he has ink too. Shredder is well...........I don't know I'm a bit shellshocked with these designs. Not liking them very much at all.

Thanks very much for posting those Ironwez

I like them! I was a little worried but I think they look awesome!

The armor is a nice touch! It's also a gathering of knick-knacks and crap they probably found that people threw out. Obviously Leo is going to sport his unique samurai armor since he is the leader and tries to emulate the ideals of bushido as much as possible. The gauntlets and shin-guards in general are what I expect to see in terms of "ninja armor".

Looks like Donatello is also sporting some headphones and probably has other tech gear on him, he is the brains after all.

Raphael looks pure beast mode! His mask looks more like a traditional bandana and since he is the most headstrong and arrogant of the Turtles, I'm not surprised to see him with the least amount of armor.

Hard to see Mikey. Looks like he's probably going to be portrayed as hip and naive. Looks like he has a jacket wrapped around his waist, 80's style.

I don't know about you all. But I dig them! Modernized, with a nod to the sewer roots (hence the "junk armor), and the faces look Turtle enough while also being able to convey emotion. I'm impressed! Makes me a little bit more excited.

Shredder is the only one I'm "Eh" about. He looks like spikes and armor overkill! I guess we'll see how he uses it all in the movie but I guess if you want to be a ninja that can drill through anything, that's the way to go! The demon-esque mask does look awesome though!

I actually like them as well. All they did was add some details in gears on them. Happy to see that they still have their original face and overall look.

This could have been a LOT worse.

I'm on the same page. Looking forward to seeing them in motion. Throw me a halfway decent plot, solid FX and some good fight choreography and I just might be sold.

And to reiterate what Deckard is saying, anyone not watching the Nick toon is missing out!

The turtles look ok, for being a modern take on the characters, except the face, it's something between human and alien/turtle, it's creepy, the chopstick chest-plate looks good, it's obviously purely decorative.

Shredder looks generic, like Silver Samurai from Wolverine :lol

It's difficult for me to get excited about this movie--mainly because Bay is involved. After seeing the way he mangled the Transformers movies I'm pretty sure TMNT get the same treatment. I fully expect to see a few fanboy nods that will get my hopes up then he'll take it to some horrible extreme that ruins what could have been an awesome movie.

Also, I won't be surprised if the turtles pull **** out of their shells like its a backpack. When I saw the model of Leo with no swords on his back all I could think of is they'll just have him stick them down his shell like it's his scabbard. At least the new Leo pic shows them on the outside but mark my words: shell backpack.

I'm getting a Predator vibe from these designs, especially Shredder. I hope we see some official stuff soon. I'm hoping a trailer will calm some nerves.

On a side note who is making the figures for this film and what scale are they in?
